"Should we split up? One of us stays to kill these guys, the other rushes to destroy the town."
"No, not yet. Konoha has many powerful individuals; who knows who might arrive next? We aren't Perfect Jinchuriki; when we're in trouble, we can only help each other," Roshi shook his head.
To put it bluntly, he was still wary of Genjutsu, especially the Sharingan of the Uchiha Clan.
If a Jinchuriki who wasn't a Perfect Jinchuriki had to face both their inner Tailed Beast and external Genjutsu attacks simultaneously, they might truly be overwhelmed.
