Chapter 186 - It's Done.

Haruto looked at the device in front of him with eager eyes.

It had been three months since the time Tsunade had vanished and never returned along with Jiraiya, Shizune and his soul fragment Ultra Fighter.

In the meantime, the internet had become a common thing across Konoha's various departments while Haruto himself was busy cracking the tenketsu.

There had been no assassination attempts yet.

It seemed like the shinobi villages knew that there were definitely people protecting Haruto and that he was a bait.

Fugaku hadn't spared any expense in making Haruto a delicious bait, yet the villages hadn't attacked yet. In fact, the Tsuchikage Onoiki had even sent an envoy to Konoha in a strange turn of events to discuss collaboration.

The details were extremely secretive but nothing Haruto couldn't get his hands on with his Spirit Transformation Jutsu.

It seemed like out of all the present Kage, Onoki was the only one who had realised the terror of the supposed meteorite that had targeted Konoha four months ago.

Now whether it was a trap to make Konoha let its guard down so that they could be backstabbed Haruto didn't know. But Fugaku seemed to be taking the cooperation seriously enough that he'd begun sharing key intel with Iwagakure regarding Madara's return.

Kumogakure, Sunagakure and Kirigakure were not so keen on cooperating since they'd fallen mostly silent and rejected attempts made by Fugaku to reach out to fight a common enemy.

Apparently all of them saw Fugaku's actions as a sign of weakness in Konoha, allowing them to set their sights on war.

But regardless of all of it, the Shinobi world's power balance hung on a needle's tip, ready to fall whichever way pushed too far.

Haruto remained unaffected by all of it.

His focus remained on Madara and his orbital laser cannon which would allow him to take him out without even lifting a finger.

To do that Haruto felt like he'd achieved the first step.

The device that would allow him to figure out the least chakra density values of each tenketsu.

It was sitting on his palm, a small card shaped device that had a few seals neatly arranged all over its surface.

Haruto placed the card on his chest and stuck it to his body with the help of the tenketsu on his solar plexus.

Once that was done, Haruto did something simple. He began to pump all of his chakra into the card, and like a storage scroll, the card accepted all his chakra without hesitation.

Once a sufficient amount of chakra was pumped into the card, it stopped accepting any more chakra and started pumping back the chakra in reverse.

Only this time, it seemed like the card was doing it intentionally, as if it was scanning Haruto's body from head to toe.

As if it was going through all his tenketsu, filling each one with a certain amount of chakra before pausing once a certain threshold was crossed.

The process continued for half a dozen minutes before the artificial chakra circulation carried out by the card paused and ended.

Haruto felt all the tenketsu in his body and observed the amount of chakra in each of them quietly, faithfully noting down how much each tenketsu was filled before collecting all his chakra back into the tenketsu in his stomach and dissipating it.

"Finally…" Haruto sighed. "It worked…"

Haruto pulled out the card from his chest and looked at the simple little thing with a complex expression on his face.

Only about ten lines of seals existed on the small six by three inch card he was holding. They had been distilled several times to turn the traditional sealing technology into a machine that was capable of one thing and one thing alone.

The card always tried to perform the clone jutsu with the chakra it was given.

But when the chakra was passed into all the tenketsu in the human body, if passing chakra into a tenketsu triggered its least chakra density which in turn changed the property of the chakra flowing through it, the card would be unable to perform the clone jutsu.

This failure meant success in discovering a tenketsu's least chakra density.

Repeat this three hundred and sixty one times for all the tenketsu in the human body and you get a card that can instantly show the answer to a question paper that each shinobi spends nearly their entire lives solving.

Haruto then pulled out a small scroll from his pocket.

This was the scroll that allowed a person to turn from a simple biological body to a paper body with each sheet of paper having explosive tags sealed onto them.

Haruto looked at the scroll that he'd already looked at a thousand times by now and then focused on his arm.

Almost immediately, sheets of paper began to separate from his fingers, then his palm, and then his entire arm.

Haruto refrained from employing any explosive seals on the papers so they were blank, but he could distinctly feel it. The pages were connected to the philosopher's stone within him. Each representing a fragment of his chakra, of his life force.

The pages swirled around him for a few seconds, causing dust to rise up in his private workshop in the Senju compound, causing the electronic components and the various machines to clink with each other on their stands, before the pages recombined and returned to form his hand.

"Let's see…" Haruto mumbled, "If that is how paper works… then fire should be something like this?"

Haruto retried the jutsu, and almost instantly his arm burst into fire.

However Haruto frowned almost instantly.

'Hmm… this consumes my life force.'

The fire, unlike the paper, wasn't a solid object that could be held back after it was ignited. It burned away. And the fuel it was burning was his life force.

Now, given that Haruto had the philosopher's stone empowered by Hashirama's cells, he wasn't worried about dying instantly.

But it was still an unpleasant feeling.

"I guess that's why there is only water elementalisation and paper elementalisation in Naruto… the rest of them, apart from Earth, are too risky to carry out."

Haruto nodded and disabled the fire transformation, returning his hand to normal.

With a soft woosh, the flames vanished and left the lab appropriately dark as Haruto grabbed the important card that he'd just succeeded in creating and began walking out.

As Haruto stepped out of the lab, he entered practice mode immediately.

He erased all chakra from his body and began to lower his presence to that of a helpless animal.

Haruto blended among the crowds outside, but smiled, he still felt Shisui's gaze lock onto him, but it was faint and searching so Haruto knew he was close to vanishing totally, but he held back from doing so.

He couldn't reveal his full strength so obviously.

After all, even if a single alive person in Konoha knew his real capabilities Black Zetsu would know of it and prepare a counter measure.

Knock Knock

Fugaku's voice came from the other side of the door. "Come in."

Haruto entered the room and spoke calmly while holding up the card in between his fingers, "It's done."
