Haruto stood with his fish bucket professionally while Naruto fidgeted with the hand holding the bucket since it was quite heavy for him, but he didn't want to put it down to seem weaker than Haruto.
"Is Kakashi-sensei not going to come today too?" Naruto mumbled looking around for any signs of a talking dog that might alert them of the news.
"Yo…" Kakashi suddenly appeared startling Naruto, causing him to nearly drop his bucket due to the fright.
After Kakashi gave them a few seconds to settle, because of Naruto glaring hard at Kakashi for making him spill some water onto his sandals, wetting them for the foreseeable future, he spoke again, a little gently this time, "I see that you've brought your fishes with you…"
Haruto and Naruto nodded seriously.
"Then let's get started with the healing lessons right away." Kakashi said leading them out of the I.T department and towards what Haruto recognised was training ground seven.
Naruto looked around their surroundings carefully as they were walking and finally focused back on Kakashi when they reached the training grounds. In contrast, Haruto acted as if this wasn't the first time he'd come here with Kakashi, appearing relaxed and calm as he followed him.
"We'll be training here from today. You may directly come to this spot from tomorrow onwards." Kakashi said and when Haruto and Naruto nodded he quickly pulled out a kunai with his hand extended.
Haruto realised what Kakashi was asking for before Naruto and so he placed a fish from his bucket into Kakashi's hands, it flopped around for a bit but Kakashi slapped it dead and placed it onto a tree stump between them.
"Look carefully… Haruto, you focus on the jutsu hand seals and Naruto, you focus on the pill I'm about to feed the fish." Kakashi said calmly before bringing out a small purple colour pill from his pouch.
Kakashi fed the fish the pill, showing both the students that the pill near instantly dissolved as soon as it entered the fish's mouth before he quickly formed about ten handseals.
A blueish glow emerged out of Kakashi's palm after he performed the hand seals before he brought his hand towards the fish's gills.
Almost immediately, a purple liquid, the same colour as the one that Kakashi fed the fish reappeared out of its gills as if dragged out by a suction force.
Kakashi gathered the purple liquid in a small glass bottle and showed his two students the result.
Naruto's eyes were slightly wide since this was the first jutsu he'd ever seen in his life being performed right in front of him.
Of course he'd seen the various people training around the training grounds before on his tours around the village, but most of them stopped and started pointing at him or threw rocks at him when he passed by.
So to Naruto this seemed like a near miracle.
"This was the poison extraction jutsu. It is very useful and one of the easiest Medical Ninjutsu. Haruto, you'll be learning this ninjutsu, while Naruto, you'll be learning how to make the poison I just used."
"Why does he get to learn that cool Ninjutsu while I just play with poison!?" Naruto instantly shouted out loud.
Kakashi looked at Haruto, then at Naruto and sighed deeply, after a few seconds he told Haruto something surprising.
"Haruto, why don't you demonstrate what you can do?" Kakashi then turned to Naruto and spoke gently, "Once you can do the same thing as Haruto, I won't stop you from learning this ninjutsu."
Haruto frowned for a second.
'Is he asking me to show my 'scorch release'?'
Haruto nodded nonetheless at Kakashi and then moved some distance away from both Kakashi and Naruto. He then turned towards a rock in the distance and took a soft breath in.
Naruto looked at Haruto with sharp focus, this was the second jutsu he was going to see from up close so he wasn't going to miss any of it. Still, somewhere deep in his mind he felt slightly underwhelmed, could Haruto's performance really outclass Kakashi? A bonafide Jonin? And what was he about to do that required him to make some distance from them? Surely it couldn't be anything explosiv-
Haruto's handseals flew into a blur as his mouth spat out a blazing hot fireball. The fireball flew rapidly towards the rock that Haruto had aimed at and landed upon it with a near silent explosion for a second before the shockwave travelled outwards and brought along with it the sound that had been suppressed.

Naruto's eyes widened at the mushroom cloud and his mouth hung loose.
Soon the dust in the air dissipated and Naruto saw the sprawling result of Haruto's explosion, the rock had been turned into dust and had been scattered along with the wind. Parts of the sand from the training ground had been turned into glass and he had felt the heat of the explosion from nearly thirty feet away.
Naruto wasn't given any time to recover, Kakashi quickly capitalised on Naruto's stupor and spoke loudly since even his ears were ringing slightly from the last explosion. "So if you can do that Naruto, you can learn the jutsu like Haruto here."
Naruto only managed to blink a few times before he was faced with the scroll Kakashi threw at him. Naruto quickly caught it but failed to open it, he was still staring at Haruto in shock and surprise.
Meanwhile, Kakashi was already instructing Haruto on the poison extraction jutsu.
"The poison extraction jutsu is simpler than other medical ninjutsu because it doesn't need physically dominated chakra like most other medical ninjutsu out there. To use it you follow the tenketsu in this scroll and you'll have to infuse your chakra into the target to identify the poison and extract it along with your chakra."
Haruto caught the scroll Kakashi threw at him and quickly opened it. But unlike the textbooks he read which had information in great detail, the scroll Kakashi handed him had just that, the tenketsu required for the jutsu.
"You can memorise the contents of the scroll now and hand it back to me before you leave today." Kakashi said calmly.
Haruto nodded and quickly began to memorise the contents of the scroll.
It was then that Naruto finally broke out of his stupor and spoke in a panicked tone, "How did you do that!!!?!???? Can you teach it to me!??!???!"
Haruto looked at Naruto then at Kakashi, as if to say, 'Deal with this… it's your job.' But Kakashi quickly looked away, pretending like Haruto didn't exist. That was when Naruto interrupted once again, "If you don't teach it to me how am I supposed to master the jutsu before Kakashi-sensei will teach me medical ninjutsu!?"
Haruto sighed internally before speaking to Megumin.
'Does finishing this count as a mission accomplished?'
'YESSSS!!!!!!'
"Fine…" Haruto nodded, "But after we finish the training that Kakashi-sensei has us doing right now."
Naruto nodded, "Fine by me!! As long as you don't bail out at the last second!"
After which, both Naruto and Haruto got busy with their training under Kakashi, Naruto was first asked to memorise the ingredients list of the poison and rattle out the preparation method which was going to take a while. While Haruto was free to practice the jutsu if he felt like he'd gotten down the contents of the scroll.
