As soon as Haruto reached home, the first thing he did was take a proper shower with some cold water.
"Huff… that feels nice…" Haruto said drying his hair as he stepped out of the bathroom and changed into some clean clothes given to him by the village.
Just as Haruto finished changing he heard a cough in the room.
"Eek!!!" Haruto squealed and jumped as his eyes went to the other person sitting quietly in the window.
"How long have you been there you pervert!!!" Haruto shouted while throwing his towel at the person.
Kakashi blocked the towel and gave Haruto a dead eyed glare before quietly entering the room.
"Only after you changed…"
"Is that so…" Haruto asked, his eyes narrowing into slits as he observed Kakashi carefully for any signs of lying. "Alright then… what did you need from me, Kakashi-san?"
Kakashi nodded and pulled out a small note book from his shinobi pouch. "Here is what you asked for…"
Haruto took the book from Kakashi's hands and mumbled in confusion, "What I asked for…?"
'Is it a copy of Icha Icha Paradise?'
As soon as Haruto flipped to the first page he was surprised.
"Fire Nature Transformation!? A whole book!? What's in this book for it to be so thick!?" Haruto nearly shouted off the roof of his house causing Kakashi to wince a little from the sonic attack.
Haruto looked up at Kakashi with a fervent glare, his gratitude was clearly visible and it made Kakashi a little uncomfortable.
"Thank you so much!" Haruto said quickly with a ninety degree bow.
If Haruto wasn't wrong, this book contained advanced fire release training techniques right to the level of Naruto's waterfall cutting training.
Kakashi's eyes crinkled into a smile as he spoke softly, "It is my personal record of the training so please keep it safe. I will collect it from you once you're done with it."
Haruto nodded.
"I can see you're already eager to try it out so I won't keep you waiting. See you later then… you can ask me questions about the training whenever you feel like it so don't feel shy about bothering me…"
Haruto nodded again, "Thank you Kakashi-san… this is invaluable. I don't know how I can ever repay you for your help."
"If it really is invaluable to you, then make sure you don't leave me behind." Kakashi said and nodded before flickering away without a sound, leaving behind only a swirl of leaves.
'Was that the Body flicker jutsu?' Haruto wondered.
'I didn't even see him make any hand signs…'
'And I couldn't follow behind his speed as he left… how do shinobi control their speed if they can't see or react to where they're going?'
The questions further reinforced Haruto's ideas that shinobi used some special Chakra Circulation technique to strengthen their reflexes and improve their reaction speed.
Haruto quickly gathered the leaves Kakashi left behind for his own Leaf Concentration training tomorrow and went up to the third floor where he planned to study his new fire release guide book.
It took a while for Haruto to calm down from the excitement before he slowly flipped open the first page of the book.
As he had observed the first time he'd opened the book, the guide was in the form of a journal, likely written when Kakashi had been training in fire release.
"Day one of Fire Release Nature Training."
"Apparently fire nature chakra is created in the body by passing chakra through the tenketsu in the solar plexus. To do so one must fill the tenketsu fully with chakra and then transport the chakra outside the body through sub-chakra pathways that are not connected to any tenketsu. Once the chakra leaves the body, it will naturally turn into fire."
'So simple?' Haruto frowned upon reading.
If it were so simple he guessed anyone would be able to create fire and there would be no reason for training in fire release anymore. After all, what was the point of training if anyone could create fire so easily?
Haruto, ever the curious body, circulated chakra through the tenketsu in the solar plexus before dragging it out of the body through sub-chakra pathways, bringing it to his palm before storing it there for a second.
He plucked a leaf from the table before placing it over his hand and then taking a deep breath in before pondering on a question.
'Should I release the chakra slowly, akin to a burner on sim or all at once… like an explosion?'
'...'
Haruto's body was very honest even if his mind felt it was risky to release all the chakra at once.
Before he could control himself, Haruto opened the flood gates on his palm.
"BOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!"
"AAAAGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"WHAT THE HELLL!!!!!!!!"
'Kekekekeke!!! I knew it!!! My disciple could only follow the path of Exxxppplllooooosion!!!'
A short explosion and a short black face attempt later, Haruto was standing in the bathroom with his hand under cold running water.
'Was that fire release or explosion release?' Haruto wondered, looking down at his hand that was lightly burnt.
'Did the system give me Megumin's fire release talent as Explosion release or something?'
'Am I Bakugo now?'
Haruto went back to the third floor and looked at the charred remains of the previous leaf and slowly cleaned it up. He sat down at the table again and this time he decided he would release the chakra slowly to observe exactly what was happening.
Haruto picked up a fresh green leaf from his desk and placed it on his palm.
He gathered chakra into his solar plexus once again and brought it to the edge of his palm.
It took him a few seconds of comforting himself that nothing explosive like before would happen before he let the chakra in his hand out of his body slowly.
"Poof."
The result was immediate.
A tiny flame, as big as a small lighter's fire hovered an inch above his palm.
Everything about its colour, shape and even light was normal, just like a normal fire. Except it was still rather unnatural.
Haruto's eyes widened as he felt the heat radiating off of the tiny flame.
The leaf on his palm had long since burnt out, not even ashes remained this time. His hand was already sweating in hordes and his face was feeling the heat too. His lips felt parched and the room felt five or six degrees hotter, like it wasn't the beginning of winter but the middle of summer.
'Is it supposed to be this hot?' Haruto wondered with shock in his thoughts.
After about a minute, the flame flickered for a second or so, before it went out with a poof, just as it appeared.
Haruto sat there, quietly, staring at his palm that was slightly red.
'...'
'Am I going to become the next Uchiha Madara?'
Haruto was beyond excited. He could feel his blood rushing through his body as his heart beat with power.
'Haruto!!! I have a new mission for you!!!!!'
'Huh?'
'Quickly!! Look at it!!'
Haruto was about to open the Mission Page once again but something else caught his eye.
On the table in his mind's eye with the four cards apart from the Mission Page which had a notification on it, there was a notification over the Template Roulette Deck card.
Haruto's eyes widened instantly.
'Another roulette chance?'
'Another character?'
'How have I not noticed this before!?'
'When did this appear here?'
