Okay, that was a bit of an exaggeration.
However, it was the truth that Vale found himself much more enamored and enthralled by the sport he was watching than anything recreational before — besides lust, of course.
It was simplistic and barbaric at first glance, but insanely fun to watch.
One didn't need to entirely understand the rules. They simply needed to understand the thrill of watching one imp run down a field while desperately dodging 11 others who wanted to crush them. All while their own team attempted to use their bodies to block.
Sadly, Greed had made the teams wildly uneven and chosen to root for the much better Possibles. Leaving Vale to either root for the same team as Greed — which wasn't going to happen — or for the worse one.
Vale wasn't upset.
