Asta and Noelle, that unlucky duo, triggered every trap in the Magic Palace.
A giant demon flower opened its gaping maw, about to swallow Asta and Noelle, who were entangled by vines and unable to move.
Noelle had just thought of releasing her Dragon Blast when Yuno's wind magic saved her.
"You four-eyes, don't you dare talk about my senior and Adam!" Asta yelled at the blue-haired noble.
Klaus, also a man of strong emotions, argued with Asta like children squabbling.
"You little beanpole, the Black Bulls, a low-ranking squad like that, are all barbarians indeed."
"You Golden idiots—no, the Golden Carp Squad, are you…?"
"Ah! It's Golden Dawn!" Klaus roared in anger. This hateful stubby/shorty was truly stupid.
Noelle was also exchanging barbs with her cousin, the golden-haired Mimosa.
"Big sister still can't control her magic, can she?"
"Can someone like you, little sister, adapt to the Golden Dawn?"
"Everyone is doing well," Mimosa said with a fake smile.
"I'm doing fine too," Noelle replied with a furrowed brow, also using a standard smile.
"Let's go!" The prince, who had been acting aloof, finally couldn't hold back.
"The mission is important," Yuno said coldly.
"Let's go!"
Yuno's departure ignited Asta's fighting spirit, and he quickly chased after him… Deep within the Magic Palace, at the bottom of an unknown lake.
"What is this?"
Adam pushed aside the corpse of a magic fish. A blood-red gem was embedded in the ground.
Adam placed his hand on it, and just as he was about to pull it out, a huge suction force emerged.
"Darn it!"
Adam's hand was stuck to the gem, and the lake water, which had been held back on both sides, began to close in.
"My Electric Eyes are failing."
Adam's eyes could no longer emit lasers, and the water gradually submerged him.

Adam let out an unwilling roar, and the eerie lake water swallowed him at the bottom of the lake.
