Max lifts me up, wrapping his arms around me and hiding his face in my neck. "When did you think such deep thoughts?"
"When you're working and I'm on my own playing videogames in your game room." I wrap my arms around him, pulling him close too.
"I guess I should leave you alone less, maybe I'll be able to actually hear the thoughts as they happen and not afterwards." Max laughs and my heart jumps just a little.
I love hearing him laugh. Actually, I love his plan too. Spending more time with him sounds like a really good idea.
