Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Apostle of Judgment, Order, and War

"Welcome everyone to the Eternal God Domain. Every word I am about to say must be remembered, as it concerns your survival."

"First: This is the Eternal God Domain, a place where only the strong can survive, a place where gods, angels, demons, and ancient civilizations clash for supremacy.

From this moment forth, your old world shall cease to exist. Here, strength is law. Weakness is death."

"Second, the place you now stand in is called the Endless Forest… a vast and unforgiving land teeming with dangerous creatures. In order to grow stronger and to survive… you must hunt these creatures and kill them. Only by killing them will you gain experience and level up. This is the law of this world—those who do not fight… will die."

"Third: The Eternal God Domain is vast, and you are not the only civilization that has descended upon this world. Fight, grow stronger, and ascend… or fall and be forgotten. This is a world where you either kill or are killed."

"Oh, and one last reminder: the Eternal God System is now open; you can now access the System Plane to check your personal information."

"Although there are death crises everywhere, there are also abundant resources and opportunities here. It's only up to you to seize this opportunity. Good luck to you all."

Zayen stared blankly at his surroundings, a look of horror in his eyes.

Just a second ago, he was about to light a cigarette in his mouth when a white light suddenly flashed before his eyes, and the next second he lost consciousness. When he regained his consciousness, he was shocked to find himself in this unfamiliar place.

The surroundings were filled with towering trees full of vitality as well as all sorts of exotic flowers and plants.

"Where is this place?"

If not for the mysterious voice that had just echoed in his mind, Zayen might have really thought that he was in heaven.

At this moment, a large amount of information suddenly floods into Zayrn's mind, causing him to feel a little dizzy for a second. Then, with but a single thought, a translucent panel appeared in front of him.

In the lower right corner of the panel were two options: [PersonalInformation] and [Chat Channel].

With a thought, he focused on [Personal Information], and a new page appeared.

...

[Name]: Zayne

[Race]: Human

[Level]: 1

[EXP]: 0 / 100

[Title]: ???

[Talent]: Not awakened

[Skills]: None

[Attack]: 20

[Defense]: 10

[Speed]: 15.

"This thing is somewhat like a game." Seeing the data plate, Dick couldn't help but think of the time when he played online games.

While Zayen was still looking at his personal information, messages kept popping up in the chat channel in the bottom left corner of the panel.

With a thought, he opened the chat channel, which was already buzzing with activity. Many people's avatars were flickering by the screen. Those avatars had no beautification filters and reflected one's true appearances. Next to each avatar were the person's name and age.

Zayen also saw his own avatar, with his age labelled 23. However, he didn't pay attention to everyone's appearance and focused on their chat content.

"Brothers and sisters, have we really transmigrated?"

"What exactly is going on? I was just eating breakfast at home, and then I was dragged in."

"Based on my many years of experience with TV shows and movies, we should have been exiled to an unfamiliar world."

"Nonsense! You don't need to tell me that. The problem is what to do now. The mysterious voice just said that this world is full of killing and danger."

"Wuwu… I'm really scared. Am I going to die right away?"

At that moment, a pretty and cute girl sent the message, and almost instantly, a group of warm-hearted men rushed in to offer comfort.

"Don't be afraid, beautiful girl. I'm here—I can protect you."

"Don't worry, girl. With me around, no one can touch you."

"Everything will be fine; just stay calm. I've got you."

"Don't panic, girl upstairs. We might not necessarily die. Let's first look at our data! Everyone, what are your stats? Both my attack speeds are at 10 points, and my defense is 5. What about you guys?"

"I also have 10 points for attack and speed, but defense is only 3 points."

"Me too!"

"It seems like everyone has the same points for attack and speed!"

"Not exactly! My attack power is 25 points, speed is 15, and my defense is 10 points."

"What...?! How is that possible?"

Oh! Hey, how did you increase your stats that much? You have to tell us your secret."

"Wow! Dude, your stats are so high! I'm sticking with you from now on!"

"Hahaha... it's nothing. I usually focus on training strength, so my strength score is a bit higher than you guys's."

As Zayen read through the chat, he roughly understood the situation.

Currently, most people had a 10-point or below for all their stats, with only a few reaching the 12 points.

Then, he quietly observed the chat channel for a moment and quickly learned three things:

First, everyone had been teleported to different locations within the Endless Forest, though a handful of lucky ones had appeared together in the same area.

Second, all survivors had been divided into groups, and the channel he was viewing belonged to Group No. 911, since the world chat channel had not yet been unlocked.

And the third was that the average scores for normal individuals were 10 points in each stat.

Zayen looked at his own stats.

His attack power was 20 points, 15 for speed, and 10 points for defense, likely due to his years of training and fighting on the street.

At this moment, the mysterious voiceform before them them echoed in everyone's minds once again.

"Announcement: In one minute, everyone will undergo talent awakening."

"Reminder: A few of you will soon receive the opportunity to be chosen by the ancient gods or celestial beings as their Apostles. Those selected will not only earn the title of Apostle but will also awaken Divine-grade talents and skills."

"Note: Talent abilities are ranked across twelve tiers—F, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, SSS, Divine, Celestial, and Eternal. F-grade represents the lowest awakening, while Eternal stands at the pinnacle, a level said to rival the power of creation itself."

"Reminder: Only those personally chosen by the gods or other celestial beings are capable of awakening a Divine-grade or higher talent. Every talent, regardless of rank, possesses its own unique skills, abilities, and potential—yet the gulf between the mortal tiers and the divine is immeasurable."

"Now good luck to you all in your talent awakening!"

As soon as this message appeared, the whole chat channel suddenly exploded with messages.

"What the hell! Talent awakening is about to happen!"

"So excited! I wonder what level of talent I will awaken? I hope it's not too bad!"

"Yeah! I'm really worried that I'll awaken a trash talent!"

"Oh! One can only awaken talent at the divine grade or above only if they are chosen as an apostle. What does that mean?"

I'm willing to exchange ten years of my life just to awaken a good talent!"

Zayen was also very nervous at this moment. He didn't ask to awaken any super-level talent; he just hoped that whatever talent he awakened wouldn't be too bad.

Just at that moment, a white light descended from the sky and landed on top of his head. Immediately, his body emitted a dazzling golden light.

The next second, a massive surge of information flooded his mind, forcing him to clutch his head as he screamed in pain.

"Ahhh!!!"

But the pain only lasted for a brief moment before slowly fading away. At the same system, the system panel appears in front of him.

[Congratulations, you have been chosen as an Apostle by the Archangel Michael—the Archangel of Judgment, Order, and War.]
