My sister's scream is painful to hear.
It pierces the air, goes right through my ear and straight to my heart like an arrow.
It's obvious how much pain she's in; she lets out another scream as we make our way in.
My legs are shaking, unsteady as uncertainty fills my mind.
I'm scared for her, there have been stories of how a dead mate makes your own wolf go through a process of trying to end your life.
Many people have ended up dying, some barely survive and when they do, they come out with their mind broken.
There is another scream, this time more raw, more painful and I move faster.
Hwang Jaehyun is ahead of me, moving like Yunah is specifically calling for him, like he is her self-assigned protector.
I hate how it makes me feel like I can trust him again and again.
A maid tries to stop him from going through but a low growl from him and a flash of his red alpha eyes, she moves out of the way whimpering.
