Chapter 11: Pirate Ren Arakawa's Actions
At the same time.
The Ren Arakawas in the worlds of Naruto and Marvel were both shopping.
And both got into disputes with people while shopping.
Pirate Ren Arakawa, perched atop a sword tree, didn't even know which one to watch first.
After a moment of thought, he decided to focus his attention on Stephen Fang.
"Aaargh!" The first to be injured, a young black man, screamed and clutched his wrist. The other two were stunned.
What was going on?!
Who stabbed someone with a compass?!
They looked toward the female shop owner, who was equally dumbfounded behind the counter. It clearly couldn't have been this sixty-something-year-old granny.
Then who was it?
The two turned their heads, searching for an answer.
Then, a steel pen was inserted into one of their wrists, and a fruit knife into the other.
"Ah!"
The two were in such agony that they instantly dropped their guns to the side. Their blood-smeared hands would never be able to commit evil deeds again.
Crouching in a corner, Stephen Fang rubbed his temples and deactivated his Sharingan.
As the tomoe faded, he wiped away a bead of sweat.
Aided by the Sharingan, he could probably win a gold medal in Olympic shooting now.
A proper Superhuman.
It was just that the duration was too short.
He was spent after just eleven seconds.
Only marginally better than Liu Xiang, who ran 12.88 seconds.
A robbery was thus concluded. The three young black men left the Chinese supermarket, howling in miserable pain.
Aunt Li walked out from behind the counter, picked up the three handguns on the floor, and then, as if suddenly remembering something, dropped the guns, ran to the storeroom, and lit some incense.
"Bodhisattva protect me! Bodhisattva protect me!"
By the time she finished praying to the Bodhisattva and came out again...
The store was empty. A loaf of bread was missing from the shelf, and three dollars had appeared on the counter.
On the floor, three guns were missing.
Walking down the street, Stephen Fang warily eyed the passing pedestrians.
His pockets were bulging, making him look for all the world like an easy target who had just withdrawn a hundred thousand dollars from the bank.
But if anyone knew that just a few minutes ago he had taken down three gun-wielding thugs, they would have stayed far, far away.
"Why'd you take the guns?" Pirate Ren Arakawa was a little confused.
Stephen Fang replied, "The guns can be traded for a hot pizza!"
"Heh! You're a clever one!" Pirate Ren Arakawa smiled faintly, then swallowed hard. "Pizza... although it can't compare to my longing for Chinese food, I still haven't had it in ten years."
"Sigh..."
"Huh? Right! I haven't checked on the other side yet!"
Pirate Ren Arakawa's exclamation also served as a reminder to Stephen Fang, and they both switched their view.
At this moment, Uchiha Ren could be said to have his aura on full display.
The eyebrow-less Uchiha ninja standing before him had a look of utter disbelief in his eyes!
A kid this young had already awakened his eyes?
The last one was the clan head's eldest son, the once-in-a-century genius, Itachi Uchiha, right?
How long had it been, and now another monster had appeared?
"Uncle, I want to buy on credit!" Uchiha Ren pointed at a giant shuriken on the wall. "Can I put it on my tab? I..." He wiggled his fingers, "in four, five, six, seven, eight... ten months, I promise I'll give you the money!"
In the chat space, the other two Ren Arakawas couldn't hold back any longer.
Stephen Fang: "You're going to pay him back in ten months?"
Pirate Ren Arakawa: "If he does pay, it'll probably be by burning joss paper for the owner!"
The owner, a certain Uchiha, had no idea that his entire clan would be wiped out by Konoha in collaboration with the Akatsuki in ten months. He took out an IOU slip and had Uchiha Ren sign it.
"Boss..." A flicker of complex emotion crossed Uchiha Ren's eyes.
"What is it?" The Uchiha man scratched his face, cutting Uchiha Ren off. "I really didn't expect you to be able to awaken your eyes, that's amazing!"
"Um... then I'll be taking this. In ten months... I'll pay you back."
"Go on, go on!"
After watching Uchiha Ren leave, the eyebrow-less Uchiha cursed to his companion beside him, "Damn brat! What's he so smug about!?"
One of his companions, a purple-haired woman, covered her mouth and giggled, "If you could awaken your eyes at his age, you could be just as smug."
"Damn it!"
Back at home, Uchiha Ren learned about Marvel Ren Arakawa's situation through Pirate Ren Arakawa's retelling.
"I never thought you could be so decisive now."
"No, no, we're all the same person. Although our personalities have changed a bit due to our environments, that drive in our bones is still the same." Stephen Fang scratched his head.
"No, no, no!" Pirate Ren Arakawa corrected him. "You're much more impressive than the two of us."
"Huh? What's wrong? You guys are facing ninjas, Marines, or pirates. All I faced were ordinary thugs."
"That's not what he means." Uchiha Ren grinned and continued, "His underlying meaning is that you have to hide from the relevant authorities trying to catch you. We don't."
"Ah!"
Only then did Stephen Fang realize.
Using "superpowers" in a Chinese supermarket filled with security cameras, it wouldn't be long before he was targeted by an organization like S.H.I.E.L.D.
"How about... I voluntarily surrender and go to S.H.I.E.L.D.?" Stephen Fang tentatively suggested.
Then, the three spoke in unison.
"Not even a dog would join S.H.I.E.L.D.!"
Night fell.
Stephen Fang found a small alley near an ATM, leaned against a wall, and drifted into a light sleep.
Uchiha Ren lay in bed, repeatedly activating his eyes until his chakra was completely depleted, then fell into a deep sleep.
His two brothers were asleep.
The remaining one, Pirate Ren Arakawa, was now filled with fighting spirit.
It was time for him to go!
A prison break?
No, he didn't have the strength for that right now.
What he needed to do was go from Level 1, the Crimson Lotus Hell, to Level 2, the Wild Beast Hell.
Then cross Level 3, the Starvation Hell, and Level 4, the Blazing Hell.
Once he reached Level 5, the Extreme Cold Hell, he could search for the legendary...
Level 5.5, the Newkama Land!
Pirate Ren Arakawa perched atop a sword tree. As far as his eyes could see, it was a scene of desolation and cruelty.
The Crimson Lotus Hell, this first underground level of Impel Down, displayed the cruelty of hell in its own unique way.
His gaze passed through the razor-sharp sword trees. The branches of these trees were like sharp blades, mercilessly cutting through the air, seemingly ready at any moment to tear apart any flesh that dared approach.
Beneath his feet was a ground made of needle-sharp needle grass.
These plants were as hard as iron, their sharp tips glinting with a cold light, exuding a deadly threat.
He could hear the tragic screams of prisoners as they fled from the pursuit of jailer beasts and poison spiders. Those unfortunate enough to touch these plants had their bodies cut open and bleeding, rolling on the ground in agony.
The surrounding air was thick with the smell of blood and rust. This was the unique scent of the Crimson Lotus Hell, mixed with the prisoners' terror and despair, forming a suffocating atmosphere.
Pirate Ren Arakawa slowly slid down the sword tree, took off his prison uniform, and skillfully wrapped it around his feet.
This way, he could reduce the piercing pain from the needle grass.
Pirate Ren Arakawa looked up.
His gaze fell upon a dark forest of sword trees.
Within this forest, there were swarms of poison spiders.
And this was also the only path to Level 2, the Wild Beast Hell.
He rubbed his eyes and muttered:
"I wonder how many levels these eyes, plus the gene lock, can get me through..."
"This arduous journey of mine... can I make it to the other side?"
He spat fiercely.
"Damn it! Let's just do it!"
