Chapter 105 - Chapter 105 — Flesh Slimes

"It won't hurt, according to Niv's analysis. Your body is far more suited to absorbing life-attribute mana than an ordinary person. And since you're still alive, the restorative holy water will still work effectively on you. By the way…"

Niv snuggled into Hel's embrace and smoothly grabbed the glass cup from Anna, holding it in front of herself.

"During the time you were unconscious, it was Niv herself who fed you this water. So, Master, do you want to try a little more?"

As she spoke, Niv lightly licked the edge of her lips with her soft little tongue, as if teasing Hel.

Hel's face flushed instantly at Niv's provocation, and she instinctively looked away.

No, this little AI is really good at this. When did she even learn it? She didn't do this before…

Thinking this, Hel glanced at Lily, who was staring intently at them as if expecting something.

In that moment, Hel understood everything.

"Lily, did you teach Niv some… improper things again?"

"Uh?" Lily, caught like a cat in the act, immediately turned her head away, embarrassed and unwilling to meet Hel's gaze.

But Hel wasn't about to let her get away with it. Streams of water shot toward Lily, wrapping around her.

"It's not like that, Master. I didn't teach Niv anything! It's a misunderstanding!"

Although Lily said that, the slight curve of her lips betrayed her pleasure at the situation.

Damn it, she made this pervert happy again.

After a bit of playful chaos, Hel lay back on the bed again, looking at the little cup Niv handed her. She set it aside with some disdain.

Others might not know what was in this holy water, but as a witch, Hel knew well. Who knows what kind of liquid the church used for this mid-tier restorative water?

"Master, Miss Vivian also visited you these past couple of days. She brought this bottle of holy water."

"I see." Hel nodded, acknowledging it. Beside her, Anna hung her head in guilt.

"Sorry, Master. Your sudden collapse scared us, and none of us know life magic, so we had to ask Miss Vivian for help."

"It's fine. You all were just worried. Besides, Vivian isn't really an outsider."

"Is that so?" Anna nodded, still feeling guilty.

Lily, on the other hand, suddenly brightened, staring straight at Hel.

"An insider? Master, when did you start hanging out with a nun?"

Hel didn't answer and waved her hand. Countless streams of water quickly tangled around Lily again.

"Alright, I'm fine. I just overworked for a few days straight, it's nothing serious."

"Master, it wasn't just a few days. You worked non-stop for seven full days. During that state, even with all our efforts, we couldn't pull you back from the little mage. It wasn't until you finished your work that you returned."

"Don't worry, it won't happen next time."

Hel patted Niv's little head.

Overtime like this should happen only once or twice. She didn't want to work non-stop forever just to become stronger.

But this time was different. If she didn't handle the incoming undead in time, not only would she lose a huge amount of undead recruits, but Heim's territory could face a true undead disaster.

Thankfully, it was all worth it.

"Let's go. After all these days, I wonder how Sebas is doing."

Hel opened the Necromancy Space portal and stepped through.

A strong stench hit her immediately, and looking around, her eyes met a sea of zombies stretching across the area.

"Oh my heavens, how many zombies are there?" Hel muttered.

Sebas's weak voice answered from nearby.

"There are 1.2 million unranked zombies, and over 30,000 first-rank zombies. No higher-rank zombies appeared this time."

He then gestured behind Hel.

Looking in that direction, the sight was stark white—countless skeleton soldiers were quietly lined up.

"Since the first zombie was sent over, I used the power of the Necromancy Space to convert them into small skeletons. About 650,000 have been converted so far. The decayed flesh removed from them is already countless."

"So that leaves nearly 550,000 still unprocessed."

"Apologies, Master. My abilities are limited, this is my maximum effort."

"It's fine, Sebas. You've worked hard these days. But the next phase might be tough too. Don't worry, we'll be working with you this time."

Hel exited the Necromancy Space and called Anna and the others over.

Anna and Lily were mages, and with proper specialization. Hel just replaced Lily's magic entry with a death-attribute one, then pushed her into helping.

The main force this time, however, were the little girls numbered One through Four.

They had reached Grand Mage level, much faster than Anna and Lily, and with Hel's Grand Witch-level magic, the task of processing all undead was completed within a single day—just in time for dinner.

After dinner, they didn't rest.

Instead, they gathered around the mountain of decayed flesh.

"High-tier flesh slimes can't be summoned yet due to lack of elemental cores. Let's use the old method."

Hel waved her hand, and piles of low-tier elemental cores appeared around them.

"All this leftover flesh will be summoned into ordinary flesh slimes, making full use of it."

She waved her hand again, creating a summoning circle in front of her.

She tossed an elemental core into the circle, and nearby skeleton soldiers piled heaps of decayed flesh on top.

In moments, the stiffened flesh rapidly dissolved, turning into a sticky mass that wrapped around the decayed elemental core.

After slight wriggling, a round, blood-colored fleshball—the flesh slime—formed in place.

"All right, let's aim to finish before the New Year."
