Chapter 2 - Chapter 2-The First Command

Chapter 2 — The First Command

Silence settled over the dungeon.

Cold. Empty. Waiting.

Kael sat on the throne, his gaze fixed on the crimson core floating before him. It pulsed steadily now, as if nothing had happened.

As if something hadn't changed.

But he could still feel it.

That second presence.

Watching.

Breathing.

Alive.

---

"Interesting, isn't it?"

Nysera's voice broke the silence.

She moved slowly around the chamber, her fingers brushing lightly against the stone walls as if testing them.

"This place… it reflects you."

Kael didn't respond.

His attention shifted inward instead.

Information surfaced—clear, structured.

---

Dungeon Masters: Selected from deceased souls.

Objective: Eliminate all competing Dungeon Masters.

Reward: Restoration of life.

---

Kael's eyes narrowed slightly.

"…So it really is a game."

---

Nysera smiled faintly.

"Not all games are meant to be won."

---

More information surfaced.

Deeper this time.

---

Factions detected:

Gods.

Demons.

Angels.

---

Images followed.

A blazing figure of overwhelming light.

A twisted shadow, laughing in the dark.

A silent being with radiant wings of silver.

---

Kael leaned back slightly.

"…Three sides."

---

Nysera stopped behind him.

Close enough for him to feel her presence.

---

"And yet," she whispered, "you don't belong to any of them."

---

The core pulsed once.

---

Authority confirmed: Dominion.

Primary Function: Command and enforcement over subordinate entities.

---

Power settled deeper into his body.

Control.

Order.

Structure.

---

Then—

Something interfered.

---

The pulse of the core distorted.

Just for a moment.

---

And another response surfaced.

Not like the others.

Not cold.

Not absolute.

---

Alive.

---

Nysera's voice softened.

"You feel it too."

---

Kael didn't answer.

But he didn't deny it either.

---

The system responded again.

---

Available Action: Summon.

---

Kael raised his hand slowly.

The air in front of him shifted.

---

Power gathered.

But not just from the core.

---

Something else answered.

---

The space warped.

A shape began to form—unstable, incomplete.

---

Then—

Kael felt it.

---

A pull.

Deep.

Instinctive.

---

Desire.

---

The forming presence reacted instantly.

Its shape stabilizing.

Its existence… aligning.

---

Nysera's eyes sharpened slightly.

"…That's not Dominion."

---

The figure's eyes opened.

---

And immediately—

It knelt.

---

Kael's hand lowered.

His voice was calm.

"Rise."

---

The creature obeyed.

---

The system responded.

---

Summon successful.

Unit classification: Undefined.

---

Nysera let out a quiet laugh.

---

"Undefined?"

---

She looked at Kael, something new in her gaze.

---

"…Now that's interesting."

---

Kael studied the kneeling figure.

Silent.

Observing.

Understanding.

---

Others would build armies through force.

Through power.

Through domination.

---

But this—

This was different.

---

The system spoke once more.

---

Warning: Irregular authority detected.

---

Kael's eyes darkened slightly.

---

"Yeah…"

---

He leaned back into the throne.

---

"I noticed."

---

Far beyond his dungeon—

Other Masters were already moving.

Forging contracts.

Pledging loyalty to gods, demons, and angels.

---

But none of them knew.

---

Something had entered the game…

---

That wasn't supposed to exist.
