"Just stay down already." Rose who was also trying to push herself up said with gritted teeth.
Damon stared at her for a moment, before bursting out in a fit of laughter.
"Hahahahahaha!" It took a few seconds before he managed to compose himself.
"Just stay down already? Can you hear yourself, sister? Since when did you start telling me to stay down?" He flashed a smirk that looked straight out of a horror movie, due to his burnt visage. "Normally you just make me unable to stand back up." He muttered, with a somewhat nostalgic air, before his eyes narrowed . "If you want me to stay down, you'll have to make me, sister."
As if gaining a sudden power boost, the two rose up from the ground, ignoring their aggrevating injuries, and charged at one another with as much speed as their wrecked bodies could muster.
Rose threw a punch, but Damon weaved under it, and threw a kick to her jaw. Bang! The kick connected, knocking her off her feet.
