Fwwhoosshh!
Rose sped through the chain of mountains, but ignored climbing any of the mountains unlike the rest. Her goal was to reach another landscape before the others, which would give her more time to secure as many eggs as possible before the others arrived.
WHUM!
A pocket of air spread outward as she stilled to a stop. She had arrived on a high terrain, which was the edge of the mountain range. And before her, all her vision could see was white, or rather ice.
But it didn't feel like any ordinary ice. Rose could tell, and was sure that just from the freezing wind that swept past her, a mundane human would have been frozen to an ice sculpture.
Before stepping forward, Rose coated her body with aether, using aether reinforcement, and then to completely negate, the freezing chill, a cloak of raging golden flames enveloped her being.
