"What now?!" I scowled at the annoying idiot that stuck to my side and insisted on accompanying me.
"Uh, don't mean to disturb, but uh... explain to me again why we're sneaking into the city lord's mansion." Dion squinted.
I gritted my teeth.
"Did you not listen to a word I said?"
"I did, it just sort of went through here and got out through here!" he gestured at both his ears.
'Calm down Damon, calm down, you can't kill him.' I kept repeating in my head.
When Dion insisted on sticking to me, I had no choice but to feed him a lie. I told him my mission was to fish out information about a stolen artifact that had recently been spotted in the city lord's mansion.
After which we came to the city lord's mansion. But since we couldn't just storm in through the front door, we leapt over the walls.
