If Leo hadn't allowed them in, not even Heimdall—or Odin—could have interfered.
He could kick them off Earth at any time, but for the sake of his plans, he didn't.
Just then, a few silly, goofy individuals came to the door, knocking and shouting loudly.
Thor looked up to see Volstagg excitedly gesticulating.
"Found you!"
Pfft!
Jane and the others were so startled they spat out their beer.
My goodness, these are Gods of the Heavenly Palace? Why are they all so simple-minded?
Medieval armor? Really?
Thor didn't care about anyone else's reaction; he sprang to his feet and ran toward Sif and the others.
"Haha, my friends!"
The mischievous Thor rushed over and gave everyone big hugs, face beaming with excitement.
"This is great! This is great!"
Volstagg proudly introduced himself.
"Hello everyone, we are The Warriors Three and Lady Sif."
That guy's expression was just asking for a beating; they weren't his fans!
"Haha, my friends, there's nothing happier than seeing you all. However, you really shouldn't have come."
Amid his excitement, Thor patted Volstagg's shoulder and said with rare seriousness.
"No, no, no! We came to take you home."
Fandral knew what Thor meant and comforted him.
"You know I can't go back."
"Father died because of me; I must continue my exile."
Thor was missing his father again.
"Thor, your father is still alive," Sif suddenly said. Thor's face instantly turned ugly.
He remembered Leo's words—he had been deceived by Loki.
At this moment, they were gathering, celebrating their long-awaited reunion, but Asgard had changed.
Among the Nine Realms, only Earth was not monitored by Heimdall; every other realm couldn't escape his eyes.
Sure enough, Loki's every move was discovered by Heimdall, who began to question him.
"Loki, tell me, how did you allow the Jotunheimers to enter the Heavenly Palace?"
Loki approached Heimdall, smugly:
"Do you think the Bifrost Bridge is the only way in and out? There are many secret passages even someone as gifted as you wouldn't know."
"But I don't need them now, because I am King!"
"I declare that, due to committing treason, you are no longer the Gatekeeper and no longer a citizen of the Heavenly Palace!"
Loki, extremely smug, used his power as King to strip Heimdall of all duties.
He felt incredibly good—the supreme status of a King!
The longer he stayed in this position, the more addicted he became, becoming unscrupulous.
But Heimdall wasn't someone to be trifled with; he immediately confronted Loki.
He utterly despised a villain like him.
"Then I don't need to obey you either."
He swung the Divine Sword in his hand directly at Loki, thinking the villain should simply be killed.
Unexpectedly, Loki controlled the Casket of Ancient Winters to attack!
This artifact, capable of freezing a planet, instantly froze Heimdall, stopping his movements and turning him into an ice sculpture wielding a sword.
"Haha, trash!"
Loki cursed smugly.
At the location where Sif and the others had teleported, the wind suddenly began to swirl, accompanied by a super tornado and dark clouds.
Thor and the others looked toward that location, knowing something terrible was happening.
Daisy murmured softly:
"Someone else came down?"
After a dust storm and flying dirt, the Destroyer finally revealed itself.
"Is Iron Man behind this again?"
"Not sure, that guy never tells me anything," Coulson and Cole joked, not taking it seriously.
Coulson even took out a megaphone:
"Hello! You are using an unauthorized weapon. Please state your identity!"
But the slap in the face came too quickly.
The Destroyer didn't care who he was—it directly sprayed fire from its face, instantly destroying the S.H.I.E.L.D. car.
Coulson and the others fled in disarray. If they hadn't noticed the robot charging up, they would probably have been dead.
The arrival of the Destroyer did not escape Thor and the others; they knew it was the strongest magic armor, incredibly powerful.
"Leo, you must leave here," Thor said.
Thor was loyal; he had vowed to protect Leo and would not go back on his word, though he didn't know Leo's true power.
He only considered him a knowledgeable Earthling, as Earth was merely full of mortals.
Leo, however, answered irrelevantly, asking with interest what Thor intended to do.
"What about you?"
"I will stay," Thor replied firmly.
"Haha, that's right, Thor will fight with us!"
Fandral answered excitedly. They were old partners from the Heavenly Palace; they naturally fought side by side.
"Guys!" Thor went over and patted their shoulders.
"I am a mortal now; I will only hold you back, but I can help these people move to a safe place."
Thor had lost his Divine Power and became somewhat dejected, but also less reckless and more capable of assessing the situation.
This was the price of growth; Thor, without power, became timid, afraid.
Leo shook his head with a smile.
"Don't worry, we'll stay and help you too."
