Hey everyone.
First things first — thank you. Genuinely. If you've read all the way to chapter 28, you've been with this story through some genuinely unhinged plot decisions and I appreciate every single one of you more than I can say.
Good news: we're close. Only a few chapters left before Battle Bladers kicks off, and things are about to get messy in the best possible way. I'll be dropping a sneak peek soon, and when I do, I want to talk through some of the changes I made to how the arc plays out — because yes, there are changes, and I think you'll have opinions.
A few things I can tell you now:
Kai and Ryuga are not hitting their full evolution yet. That's Season 2 territory. For Battle Bladers, they're each getting something — a different gimmick, a different edge — but the real mastery of their inner darkness is a journey that doesn't finish here. Some things take longer to earn.
Kyoya is absolutely getting his upgrade. I have a soft spot for characters who grind for everything they have instead of riding plot armor, and Kyoya has earned every single point of whatever is coming to him. Leone is getting built for war. That's a promise.
Now I need your help with something:
Should Gingka upgrade Storm Pegasus, or go into Battle Bladers restored but unchanged?

And the other thing I'm genuinely uncertain about: Kai and Madoka. I know there's history there. I know the tension is sitting in the story waiting for me to do something with it. I just haven't fully decided what. So I'm asking — what do you want from them? Slow burn? Rivalry that becomes something else? Complicated friendship that neither of them would call friendship? Tell me what you're feeling because I'm honestly still figuring it out.
