Chapter 27 - Chapter 27 The whole ship is full of diamonds! I want to go to sea!

Usopp had already run onto the Starship to explore: "Look! There's an automatic barbecue machine here!" "Wow! The medical bay actually has a fully automatic operating table!"

Sanji stood in the spacious kitchen, caressing the gleaming stainless steel stove, tears welling up in his eyes: "This is where a chef belongs..."

Zoro, on the other hand, lay directly on the soft mats in the training room: "Finally, I don't have to sleep on the deck anymore..."

Luffy ran from the bow to the stern, scratching his ears in frustration: "Where's the meat! Where's my meat!"

Nami's fingertips lightly traced the ship's railing, and in the afterglow of the sunset, a brilliant light suddenly stung her eyes. She squinted and leaned closer, her breath instantly caught—

"Th-this is... diamonds?!"

Along the trim of the entire ship's railing, every few inches, a perfectly cut diamond was embedded, sparkling with intoxicating light in the twilight.

Nami walked along the railing as if in a trance, discovering that it wasn't just the trim; even the steering wheel handle, the compass base, and even the decorative nails on the stair railings... wherever light could reflect, they were all embedded with diamonds of varying sizes!

"One, two, three..." Nami's voice began to tremble, her orange short hair quivering with her rapid breathing. As a former thief, she knew too well the value of these diamonds; just prying off one would be enough to buy a small ship!

Usopp curiously leaned over: "Nami, your face is so red..."

"Don't touch!" Nami suddenly slapped Usopp's hand away, blocking the railing like a protective mother cat, "These diamonds will fall off!"

Luffy poked his head out of the kitchen, his mouth full of meat: "Diamonds? Can you eat them?"

Sanji walked over elegantly, carrying a serving platter: "Miss Nami~ Dinner is ready~" When he saw Nami caressing the diamonds with such obsession, his eyes immediately turned into hearts, "Ah! Even when she's greedy, she's so beautiful!"

Zoro leaned against the training room door, sneering: "Idiot chef, your nosebleed is dripping into the lobster bisque."

Ron appeared on the upper deck at some point: "How do you like this ship, Miss Navigator?"

Nami nodded frantically, "I like it, I love it so much!" Her eyes had completely turned into Berries symbols: "The whole ship... is made of diamonds?!"

"Not entirely." Ron snapped his fingers, and the deck suddenly turned transparent, revealing a dazzling arsenal below. "Only the surface decoration used 5,000 carats of diamonds. After all..." He gave Nami a meaningful look, "we have to give our navigator a reason to stay."

Nami's legs suddenly went weak, and she had to lean on the diamond-studded railing to keep from kneeling. Her mind was already racing: 5,000 carats... at market price... if I secretly pry off a few...

"I advise you not to have any crooked ideas." Zoro stared at Nami's neck, a half-smile on his face, "Every diamond on this ship is connected to an alarm system." He pointed to the crystal lamp above his head, "See that blue light? The Vice-Captain said whoever dares to steal a diamond will be sunk to ten thousand meters below the sea by the alarm system."

Nami's expression instantly froze, but then a brilliant smile blossomed: "How could I~ I'm an official navigator now!" She affectionately linked arms with Ron, "Vice-Captain~ Where are we going next?"

Usopp muttered quietly: "See, this is Nami's true colors..."

Sanji's face was already twisted with jealousy: "Let go of the Vice-Captain! If you're going to link arms, link with mine!"

As night fell, the diamonds on the Starship transformed into a dazzling river of stars under the moonlight...

...

The next morning,

When the first ray of sunlight pierced through the orange groves of Cocoyashi Village, Nami stood for a long time before Bellemere's grave. She gently caressed the tattoo on her left shoulder, which had once been the mark of the Arlong Pirates, but was now replaced by the pattern of a windmill and oranges.

"Bellemere, I've finally fulfilled my promise to you..." The sea breeze brushed through her hair, carrying the familiar citrus scent of her hometown.

At the dock,

Nojiko tucked a carefully organized navigation atlas into Nami's bag.

"These are the East Blue sea charts I've drawn over the years; they should be helpful." Her eyes were a little red, but she smiled stubbornly.

Nami suddenly hugged her sister tightly, the one who always silently supported her, feeling the warmth of her tears soak her shoulder.

"It's time to set sail!" Ron shouted from the deck of the Starship.

Usopp was fumbling with the sails, Sanji poked his head out of the kitchen with a special orange pie, and Nami took a deep breath, looking back one last time at the village that held so many laughs and tears.

The orange grove shimmered golden in the morning sun, and the sound of the windmill turning seemed like Bellemere's gentle whispers.

The moment the mooring ropes were untied, Nami nimbly leaped onto the deck. The sea breeze billowed the sails and also lifted her orange short hair.

"Course set for the Grand Line!" She raised her arm, her eyes no longer filled with hesitation or fear, only infinite yearning for the unknown voyage.

"Welcome aboard, Miss Nami."

"Thank you, everyone."

"No need to thank us, it's what crewmates do."

"..."

.....

Three days later,

At noon, on the main deck of the Starship,

The scorching sun pierced through the sea fog, reflecting colorful light spots on the diamond-studded ship's railing. All the crew members were neatly lined up; even Zoro, who usually slept in, was uncharacteristically punctual.

Of course, he was standing while asleep.

"Ahem!" Usopp, wearing a judge's wig he'd found somewhere, officiously tapped a wooden barrel, "Now commencing the new crew member induction ceremony and financial handover ceremony!"

Nami was wearing a brand new navigator's uniform, her orange short hair gently swaying in the morning breeze.

Her eyes, however, were fixed on the gold-embossed ledger in Ron's hand. Its thickness rivaled an encyclopedia, and the large characters "Starship Financial Records" on its cover glittered under the diamond inlay.

Ron lay languidly on a sun lounger. He didn't even move a finger, and the ledger floated up to land steadily in Nami's hands: "From now on, these will be yours."

Nami eagerly opened the ledger, her pupils instantly turning into Berries symbols: "Ones, tens, hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands... millions... billions?!" Her voice suddenly rose, "The ledger has... has three billion Berries?!"

"Pfft—" Sanji, who was drinking tea, directly sprayed Zoro, "How much?!"

Zoro wiped the tea from his face, surprisingly not drawing his sword: "Anyway, the Vice-Captain can conjure money out of thin air..."

"Wrong!" Ron held up a finger, "It's money earned by the diligent sub-system hosts." He adjusted his sunglasses angle contentedly, "I'm just an ordinary money mover."

"Oh, right." He suddenly remembered something and snapped his fingers. A navigator's hat inlaid with sapphires appeared in his hand, then he tossed it into the air, and it landed perfectly on Nami's head.

"An induction gift."

Nami touched the hat, then suddenly stepped back warily: "This... you're not going to deduct this from my salary, are you?"
