Eileen's POV
"Do you understand who stands before you?" Luna Eileen's voice reverberated through the stone corridor, each word sharp as a blade. "I am the Luna of Duskwood Pack, the very pack that has opened its doors to your Lord. What gives you the right to deny me access to my own daughter?"
The guards remained silent as stone monuments, their crimson and black uniforms making them appear more like harbingers of death than protectors.
"I demand to see my daughter immediately," she pressed, her authority ringing in every syllable. "Why do you stand between a mother and her child?"
Beside her, Winona fidgeted with nervous energy, her Beta lineage making her naturally inclined to diffuse tension. "Luna, perhaps we should approach this more gently," she suggested, though her voice carried an undertone of uncertainty. "Surely the young miss is receiving proper care."
