Tonia's POV
Bradley tilted his head, studying me with those familiar silver eyes. "You have been away for quite some time. Tell me, is your memory still functioning properly?"
An intense, biting acidity flooded my mouth, making my stomach churn with dread.
He did not remember my face. When he had awakened all those years ago, his gaze had fallen only upon the scarred, broken girl I used to be.
Terror coursed through my veins as I took in my surroundings. The men standing behind Bradley were unmistakably Feeders, their predatory stance unmistakable. But why was he among them? More disturbing still was the deference they showed him, as if he commanded their loyalty.
"Come closer, Tonia." His voice carried the same deep timbre as Kermit, identical in every way. Those silver eyes held the same intensity that ran through their bloodline, the same shade Gia had inherited.
