# Chapter 193: Jack's Invitation
In the chaotic Neo Domino City, Kaito, Yugo, and Bruno rode their D-Wheels, searching for Aster Phoenix.
"Damn it, that guy can really run!" Kaito gritted his teeth, frustrated as his D-Wheel was obstructed by the bustling crowd, causing him to lose track of Aster Phoenix.
Kaito's Duel Disk communicator rang at that moment.
"We're short-handed right now. Bring Yugo and Bruno back first," Yūga Hōzumi said after the communicator connected.
"Are we just ignoring Aster Phoenix?" Kaito asked.
"He won't escape. Come back first. I'll install the Dimension Transfer Lockdown Program developed by Reiji Akaba onto your Duel Disks before you go after him again. He's slipped away twice already; this time, he won't have any chance," Yūga Hōzumi said.
"Alright," Kaito nodded, turning his D-Wheel around and heading towards the location Yūga Hōzumi sent him.
Meanwhile, in a rarely visited corner of Neo Domino City, Aster Phoenix and Yuya had a long conversation.
"So, you don't actually know where my dad is right now, do you?" Yuya asked, lowering his head in disappointment after hearing Aster Phoenix's account.
"Cheer up, Teacher will be fine. You've inherited Teacher's Duel; you can't be this despondent," Aster Phoenix said.
Just then, the sounds of protests and clashes from outside interrupted their conversation. After exchanging a glance, the two went outside.
"What on earth happened?" Yuya froze in place, watching the angry crowds marching and shouting.
"It seems the commoners of this city are rebelling, dissatisfied with the oppression from The Top Echelons," Aster Phoenix said.
Looking at the furious crowds below, Yuya murmured in confusion, "Why is it like this? Can't they just talk things over and use a better method to resolve the conflict?"
"Go do what you want to do," Aster Phoenix said, patting Yuya's shoulder. "Use what Teacher taught you to stop all of this. I'll help you."
"Okay..." Yuya nodded.
...
Roger, who had taken command of most of Neo Domino City's army, grew increasingly agitated as he listened to bad news coming in one after another in City Hall.
"Is this the army you're so proud of?" Roger looked up at the Five Elders positioned above him, gritting his teeth. "In less than three hours, nearly half of them rebelled?"
"They're just cannon fodder from the commoners; there's nothing to panic about. The elite troops, formed by duelists from The Top Echelons, haven't even acted yet!" the Five Elders said indifferently.
"Besides, the current situation can be handled by our KING alone."
"KING?" Roger frowned. "In this situation, you're actually placing your hope in Jack Atlas, who was also born a commoner?"
"Jack's birth doesn't matter. After so many years of a privileged life, I doubt he'd want to return to those commoners. Furthermore, if he wants to know the path forward concerning this miracle, which is part of the Double Tuning inheritance we've given him, he must remain loyal to us," the central Five Elder slowly stated.
...
In the center of Neo Domino City, not far from the Municipal Building, inside the underground garage of Jack's residence.
Jack repeatedly wiped his Wheel of Fortune, the only one of its kind in the world.
"Lord Atlas, City Hall hopes you can step forward to quell this rebellion," the Old Butler said, slowly entering the workshop.
"I know," Jack replied without raising his head, continuing with his task.
"City Hall's meaning is that as long as you step forward to quell this rebellion, they will hand over the subsequent inheritance on how to surpass Double Tuning to you," the Old Butler pressed again, seeing Jack's indifference.
"I said I know. Are you deaf?" Jack suddenly turned his head, staring at the Old Butler and enunciating each word, his eyes holding the gaze of a lion.
"I understand," the Old Butler quickly nodded in affirmation upon seeing his reaction.
After the Old Butler left, Jack turned to look at the TV, which was repeatedly broadcasting Kiryu's speech. After watching for a while, he silently picked up the helmet lying nearby and mounted his D-Wheel.
...
Half an hour later, Jack arrived at the chaotic CITY Duel Arena. Ignoring the various people surrounding him, he walked directly up to the Female Commentator, who was trembling slightly, startled by the rioting crowd.
"The equipment here is still usable, right?" Jack asked.
Jack's sudden appearance puzzled the Female Commentator, who nodded blankly.
"Start the live broadcast. I have something to say," Jack said coldly.
"Alright..." the Female Commentator said, stepping aside and yielding the center of the stage to Jack.
"Everyone, please quiet down," Jack's 3D projection appeared in the center of the arena, and he began to speak.
Instantly, the chaotic crowd temporarily stopped, eager to hear what this symbol of Neo Domino City wished to say at this moment.
"Regardless of the reasons for your actions, would you please give Jack Atlas some face and temporarily halt your activities, at least until the Friendship Cup concludes?" Jack said.
"Also, I'd like to ask you all to please use social media to ensure that people outside and the Revolutionary Army can see my speech. Please!" Jack said.
After a moment, seeing that the people in the arena had quieted down, Jack slowly began, "Kiryu, and all members of the Revolutionary Army, temporarily halt your insurrection. Stop harming this city. If you still consider yourselves duelists, then come here and settle this matter with a duel."
...
After Kaito, Bruno, and Yugo arrived at the command post, which had been temporarily converted from a TV station, Yūga Hōzumi watched the video of Jack's speech circulating from the Duel Arena and turned to Kiryu.
"What do you think?" Yūga Hōzumi asked.
"Let Bruno go," Kiryu said after a moment of thought. "According to the intel Shinji Weber and the others sent back, Security and the elite troops composed of officers from The Top Echelons have already established a defensive line near the Municipal Building. A direct assault would result in heavy losses."
"Those capitalists aren't trustworthy," Kaito reminded him from the side.
"I know, and I've never expected them to abide by the rules. However, many commoners are still taking a wait-and-see approach to our revolution. They seem to believe we won't succeed. Therefore, we need a KING who can truly represent the commoners to emerge," Kiryu said, looking at Bruno. "So, it's up to you, Bruno."
"You want me to go?" Although he had long anticipated this day, Bruno was still somewhat startled when it actually came.
"Exactly," Kiryu nodded. "Go, use Accel Synchro, which represents the wind of freedom, to plant the seed of freedom in the hearts of the oppressed. This is also why the inheritance we've protected for generations has chosen you."
