# Chapter 188: The Beginning of the Uprising
Just as Kiryu and Yūga Hōzumi finished assigning all the tasks, the phone in the office rang.
"Are they here?" Yūga Hōzumi and Kiryu exchanged a smile. "Next, the real battle begins."
"Hello? What is it?" Yūga Hōzumi casually picked up the phone.
"Didn't you receive the order? Why haven't you gathered everyone!" The voice on the other end of the phone sounded impatient.
"Gather everyone? So you can catch us all in one fell swoop?" Yūga Hōzumi said slowly.
"What are you talking about? Lord Roger has a very important order to announce."
"Oh, really? My apologies, but from this moment on, the Underground Labor Facility is no longer under his control."
"Do you know what you're saying? Where's the Warden?" The voice on the other end of the phone sounded extremely agitated.
Yūga Hōzumi pulled up the surveillance feed of the entrance on his computer and saw a team of Duelists in Security uniforms entering.
"The Warden? You're looking for him, huh? He should be undergoing labor reform at the Revolutionary Army's base right now. Want me to send you over, too?" Yūga Hōzumi said, pressing the switch for the Underground Labor Facility's main gate.
"What did you say? Revolutionary Army?"
In an instant, the heavy iron gate at the entrance slowly closed. Though the group of Duelists on the monitor reacted, they didn't have time to retreat.
"Let's go. For the first step of the Revolution, let's make an example of these Security Officers who pride themselves on being enforcers for The Top Echelons," Kiryu said, looking at the assembled crowd, who were ready for action.
"I've been waiting for this day for a long time! Let's go!" Shinji Weber said with a fervent expression.
"Charge!" The Revolutionary Army Warriors present were exceptionally excited, responding with enthusiasm.
"What's going on...?" At that moment, on the office sofa, Shingo Sawatari, who Yūga Hōzumi had brought back, slowly regained consciousness. He looked at the passionate expressions of everyone in the office and asked with a bewildered look.
"You certainly woke up at the right time," Yūga Hōzumi said, smiling at the sight. He tossed Sawatari his Duel Disk. "Just follow Crow. He can explain everything to you on the way."
"Huh?" A bewildered Shingo Sawatari clumsily caught the Duel Disk before being pulled away by Crow.
"Next up, it's time for some serious action!" After most people had left, Serena, who remained in the office, stretched her limbs and said eagerly.
"Don't even think about running off. You and Yuzu are sticking with Kiryu and me," Yūga Hōzumi immediately poured a bucket of cold water on her enthusiasm.
"How many times have I told you! Don't underestimate me!" Serena retorted, turning back and glaring at Yūga Hōzumi with puffed cheeks, clearly dissatisfied.
"I'm not underestimating you." Yūga Hōzumi looked at the battle-hungry girl, feeling a headache as he recalled the absurd way she was captured by the Academy in the original story.
"The upcoming battle isn't just between the Revolutionary Army and Security. If Aster Phoenix shows up, it means the Obelisk Force from the Fusion Dimension could arrive here at any moment. If you're too far from me, I won't be able to teleport instantly if something happens."
If those two girls were captured again... that whole parasite incident... the thought of it was enough to make his teeth ache. The effect of returning Dragon-type monsters to the hand to Special Summon a parasite was just too twisted. Having been disgusted by the damned K-Company in his past life, Yūga Hōzumi had no desire to experience it firsthand, even if his ace monster wasn't a Dragon-type.
"If I get caught, will you come save me?" Serena stared into Yūga Hōzumi's eyes, asking out of the blue.
"What a ridiculous question. Of course, I'd come to save you if you really got captured, but that's not an excuse for you to act recklessly!" Yūga Hōzumi said.
Serena got the answer she wanted and suddenly broke into a brilliant smile, pulling Yuzu along as she walked outside.
"Hey, did you even understand what I just said?!"
Watching the two girls push the door open and leave, Kiryu turned to Yūga Hōzumi beside him, looking as if he wanted to speak but hesitated.
"Young people nowadays are really hard to understand!" Kiryu sighed in a low voice.
"What did you say?" Yūga Hōzumi turned back and asked curiously.
"Nothing. Let's get going," Kiryu said, shaking his head. He decided not to interfere in the affairs of the younger generation.
"Does he really not notice that you like him?" Yuzu whispered to Serena, taking the opportunity while Yūga Hōzumi and Kiryu were behind them.
After spending this time together, the two girls, who looked so similar, had become close friends who could talk about anything.
Yuzu had also keenly noticed that Serena seemed to have feelings for Yūga Hōzumi, secretly watching him from time to time.
"No, I don't! Don't talk nonsense!" Serena replied, reacting quickly with a triple denial, but her flustered expression and slightly reddened cheeks betrayed her.
Yuzu said nothing, only looking at Serena with a teasing gaze.
"Alright! I admit it, I kinda like him." Serena gave in under Yuzu's gaze. After glancing back at Yūga Hōzumi, who was still on the path discussing operational details with Kiryu, she nodded at Yuzu.
"Why don't you just tell him?" Yuzu was a bit confused; in her mind, Serena wasn't such an indecisive person.
"Forget it. It's probably useless even if I tell him," Serena sighed, rubbing her head. "I can tell he has no time to think about these things right now. He's carrying too much on his shoulders."
"Besides, even though he doesn't say it, he probably minds that I'm from the Fusion Dimension."
"Alright." Seeing Serena had made up her mind, Yuzu didn't press the issue.
When they arrived at the main gate, they saw Shun Kurosaki and his group wreaking havoc. Roger never held the former Warden in high regard, so he hadn't sent many people, and their skills weren't particularly impressive. Shun Kurosaki and Shinji Weber were currently cornering a squad, routing them completely.
"After you've dealt with them, proceed according to the plan. We're heading off first; after all, the TV station is quite far from here." After Yūga Hōzumi greeted the two, he remotely opened the main gate and walked out with Kiryu, Serena, and the others.
After finding the three D-Wheels hidden near the entrance, the group dashed toward the TV station.
Meanwhile, Roger had led his confidants to surround the Municipal Building.
The highest floor of the Municipal Building was the center of power in Neo Domino City—the domain of the Five Elders.
When the five high-ranking officials seated on their grand chairs saw Roger lead his men in and seal the room, the Five Elders understood his intentions.
"Do you know what you are doing?" the man in the center of the Five Elders questioned, frowning.
"My apologies," Roger bowed to the Five Elders. "I've received intelligence that the Fusion Dimension is about to make a move on Neo Domino City. So, for your safety, could I ask the five of you to please remain calm and stay here obediently?"
