Chapter 3 - Chapter three

Ashriel had an uneventful night and had an even worse morning. And for some reason, the groans of his prisoner were still ringing in his ears.

This caused him immense anger he couldn't even blink without seeing the man.

Oh! he would make him pay.

Ashriel turned to the portrait of his brother by the headboard and sighed deeply. He thought about what his brother would do about Therion if he was here and realized that Therion wouldn't even be here if his brother was.

And somehow that just made him angrier.

"How is the bed slave? Any good?"

Dean was Ashriel second in command and closest companion, former best friend to his brother. They sat at the dining table, having breakfast, like they usually did.

The silverfang alpha gave his beta a side long glance popping a piece of toast into his mouth.

"He's not my bed slave"

Hmm. That would be a shame"

An eyebrow raise. "and why is that?"

Dean simply laughed "I'm just saying , you clearly need it, plus he's an alpha, and your slave"

okay firstly, ashriel did not need it. Yes he hasn't been interested in finding anyone cause of the risks but he wasn't a horny teenager who would die if he didn't rub one off.

Ashriel took another toast and spread some jam on it, "are you trying to get me laid ?"

"wouldn't hurt now, would it?"

no.

"yes"

Dean sighed wistfully knowing the conversation was fruitless even before it started. It was just that he had been close to ashriels older brother and this is certainly not what he would have wanted.

Breakfast rolled around quickly enough and Ashriel went to the slavehouse to check on Therion.

He had been dreading this, not knowing how to face the man after last night, but duty calls and he would answer.

"good morning alpha" the guards posted at the door greeted him.

Ashriel waves in lieu of a reply and goes inside.

The slave house isn't really a slave house as it houses no slaves simply because Ashriel isn't a big fan on objectifying humans.

He has chefs, cleaners, gardeners, workers, there was no need for slaves. There was also no need for killing his brother but here we are.

Therion stands up when he hears someone coming . He's not surprised when he sees its the alpha.

"Back for round two?" He asks dauntingly . Ashriel is shocked to say the least. He doesn't let it show. Simply cocks his head to the side and accesses the man. Wondering where he got the nerve.

"You're mouthy today" Ashriel says walking into the cell, maintaining eye contact.

"I usually get that way after a show of exhibitionism, can't say it happens often"

Ashriel is standing directly Infront of him now. He can hear the other mans breathing now. His face from last night flashes into Ashriel's mind, he quickly blinks it away.

Therion must have gone mad. There is no other explanation for why he began to pull on the drawstrings of his waistband with one hand and reaches up to Ashriels face with the other.

The slap came sharp, his palm stinging.

"Chain him," Ashriel snapped to the guards. "We're heading into town."

The guards moved instantly, cold iron rewrapping around Therion's wrists.

As they led him out, Ashriel walked ahead, his mind racing. Town would be good. Crowds. Noise. A reminder to Therion of his place—and a chance for Ashriel to test just how far he could push before the man broke.

The sun was high, spilling light over the cobblestones. People turned as they walked—a tall, half-naked man in chains, led by guards, with Ashriel at the front. Murmurs rippled through the market. Some faces showed fear. Others, curiosity.

Ashriel had been in dire need of a change of clothes but hadn't the chance to go shopping ,today was a good opportunity and if Therion had decided to provoke him on such day then that was simply on him.

"Alpha Ashriel, what a pleasant surprise" the seamstress greeted on seeing him.

"You always say that Tina. I wonder when you would actually not be surprised"

"well its not everyday the alpha pays a visit to your store"

Tina was one of the omegas in the town that Ashriel trusted, no not trusted, more like tolerated. She had an abusive husband(Had because Ashriel got rid of him, unknown to Tina). She opened her shop to cater for herself and she was actually good at what she did and Ashriel always paid her handsomely for it.

He hummed to what she said last and went to inspect some clothes on the mannequins. That allowed to Tina to finally notice Therion who stood there taking in the whole encounter. He didn't expect Ashriel to have a flair for ..fashion. Maybe kidnapping children and kicking the crippled yes but shopping? Not really

"oh!" Tina exclaimed in shock "are the clothes for him?" Ashriel reappeared from behind the curtains to see what Tina was talking about, one suit in hand

"Hmm he does look like he needs them doesn't he?" Ashriel teased vilely

"yes!" Tina bobbed her head in agreement. He could tell that she really felt that way and not even to sell more of her clothes.

"Want to hear a story Tina?"

She nodded again.

Wherever this was going, Therion knew it wouldn't be good.

A horse once lived in peace, he was a horse prince and he planned to rule his horse kingdom once his father horse dies. But then he gets killed by his pig friend. Before any justice could take place, the pig dies, probably because of his filth. Now he prince horse has a younger brother but so does the pig friend. The new prince horse takes the brother to atone for the pig friend's sins. Now Tina would you let the Pig wear what you wear?

Tina who had been so invested in the short ode shook her head furiously and somehow Therion knew he was the pig
