Chapter 4 - Chapter 2: Beyond the Cafe: A City Awaits (Part 2)

The woman, with her cascade of white-silver hair, stood beside Jaks, her presence a gentle counterpoint to the city's vibrant energy.

"The usual, Jaks?" she asked, her voice a soft melody.

He nodded, his gaze already drifting back to the panoramic view beyond the window. The lights of the city twinkled like fallen stars, reflected in the dark water of the river. He seemed oblivious to the world around him, lost in the beauty of the cityscape.

She smiled, a knowing glint in her eyes, and turned towards the counter. "Hey, Lily," she called out, her voice warm and friendly. "The usual for Jaks, please."

Lily, a girl with bright, cheerful eyes, nodded with a smile. "Coming right up, Aria!"

The preparation of the coffee was an art form in itself. The cafe, renowned for its exquisite blends, took pride in its creations. Aria watched Lily meticulously measure the ingredients, the aroma of the rich coffee filling the air.

"He's ordered the 'Midnight Bloom' again," Lily said, her voice a playful whisper. "Doesn't he ever try something new?"

"He appreciates the classics," Aria replied with a wink.

Whispers of admiration and curiosity followed Jaks. "He's so perfect," one girl murmured. "Never changes his order, never even glances at anyone."

"He's like a painting," another sighed, "beautiful but untouchable."

Finally, Lily placed the steaming cup on a small silver tray. Aria carried it to Jaks, her movements graceful and fluid. "Here you go, Jaks."

He took the cup, his gaze still fixed on the city. "Thank you."

As Aria returned to the counter, Lily leaned in, her voice low. "Do you think he's even real?"

Aria just smiled enigmatically, her eyes twinkling with a secret.

Jaks took a slow sip of his coffee, the rich, dark liquid warming him from the inside out. The Midnight Bloom, with its complex layers of flavor, was a perfect complement to the city's glittering lights. Even in the midst of the bustling cafe, he seemed isolated, a solitary figure lost in his own world. He looked even more handsome in this moment.

After finishing his coffee, he placed a generous tip on the table and rose. Without a backward glance, he walked towards the exit, his movements as elegant as they were purposeful. The door closed behind him, leaving a trail of hushed whispers and lingering gazes.

He stepped out into the cool night air and began his walk towards his penthouse, a luxurious haven in the heart of the city.
