After Lilligant handed over the Meadow Plate, she didn't leave right away.
Her gaze quickly fell on the Pokeball at Ash's waist that held Typhlosion.
"Woom~"
Lilligant raised her leaf-like arm and gently pointed at that Pokeball.
In the battle just now, I hurt him.
Let me take another look at him.
Through Aura, Ash understood what Lilligant meant, and a smile instantly appeared on his face.
"Are you worried about Typhlosion?"
"Woom~"
Lilligant nodded seriously.
Even though she had attacked while not in her right mind, her memories from the battle hadn't completely vanished.
She still remembered very clearly the moment she kicked Typhlosion from midair at the end.
That force had even smashed a huge crater into the entire stage.
Now that she was back to normal, she naturally felt guilty for having hurt Typhlosion.
"Come on out, Typhlosion."
Ash lightly tossed the Ancient Pokeball.
Red light fell onto the stage, and Typhlosion's figure appeared once more.
"Haku…"
Typhlosion was still conscious, but the recoil and massive consumption from repeatedly using Flare Blitz had clearly left his spirits far lower than usual.
Seeing that Typhlosion could still stand on his own, Lilligant visibly let out a breath of relief.
She then turned and ran to the edge of the stage, took out a Sitrus Berry she usually kept where she'd brought back the Meadow Plate just now, and returned to stand before Typhlosion.
"Woom~" Lilligant handed the Sitrus Berry to him.
Typhlosion froze for a moment.
"Haku?"
Is this for me?
Lilligant gently nodded.
Eat it.
Ash chuckled and patted Typhlosion. "She's apologizing to you."
"Haku~"
Only then did Typhlosion lower his head and eat the Sitrus Berry Lilligant had passed over.
The Sitrus Berry's effect quickly began to kick in.
Typhlosion's slightly rapid breathing gradually steadied, and the ghostly violet flames on his neck, which had dimmed quite a bit, flared up more strongly again.
His injuries had never been so severe that he couldn't move; the real problem was more the recoil and Physical Strength drain caused by Flare Blitz.
Now that he'd eaten a restorative berry and would get a good rest for a while, there basically wouldn't be any lingering issues.
Ash had already been planning to heal Typhlosion with the Power of Viridian after they returned, but since Lilligant was helping to treat him now, he might as well let Typhlosion out to recover for a bit.
He could use the Power of Viridian to fully restore him once they got back.
Lilligant carefully watched for a while, and only after confirming that Typhlosion's condition had started to improve did she finally relax completely.
"Thank you, Lilligant."
Ash smiled and thanked her on Typhlosion's behalf.
"Woom~"
Lilligant lightly waved her hand.
The one who should really be saying thanks was her.
If Ash and Cynthia hadn't shown up, she had no idea how many more Diamond Clan members she would have hurt in her frenzy.
Thinking of this, Lilligant turned her gaze to Pikachu on Ash's shoulder.
"Pika?"
Pikachu tilted his head, puzzled.
But through Aura, Ash could clearly feel that little bit of anticipation Lilligant sent over.
She seemed… to kind of miss that tingly, numbing feeling from before.
Ash: "…"
Let's not!
You just got back to normal, don't go looking for more shocks!
Lilligant felt a bit regretful, but she really did need a good rest now.
Having been under the influence of that abnormal Golden Power for so long, plus the battle she'd just fought against Typhlosion and Pikachu, had drained a huge amount of her Physical Strength.
In the end, Lilligant waved to Ash and Cynthia, then turned and left the stage battlefield, heading back to the area where she usually lived.
Arezu naturally planned to go along to take care of the Queen.
But before leaving, she still made a point of coming over to Ash and Cynthia and once again earnestly thanking them both.
Once Lilligant and Arezu had gradually gone far off, Adaman finally turned his attention back to Ash and Cynthia.
"Now that the Queen's problem is solved, it's about time we discussed the reward for this mission."
Adaman's usual smile returned to his face. "Things were even more troublesome this time than with Kleavor. Not only did you calm the Queen, you also brought Arezu, who'd run off alone into the Crimson Mirelands, back safely. The Diamond Clan can't just settle that with a simple 'thank you.'"
Ash's first reaction was to turn and look at Cynthia.
When it came to deciding mission rewards, his big sister had always been better at it.
Most importantly… he honestly had no idea what to ask for.
Money would certainly be fine.
After all, they'd just spent ninety percent of their savings at the Ginkgo Guide, buying a huge stockpile of High Energy items that Ursaluna could use.
But since Adaman was willing to let them name their own terms, it was clearly more cost-effective to ask for things they usually couldn't buy.
Cynthia was thinking the same thing.
"Captain Adaman, does the Diamond Clan have any High Energy items related to the Ground Attribute?"
"Ground Attribute?"
Adaman thought for a bit. "We should have some. The Diamond Clan has lived in the Crimson Mirelands for many years, and each of our outposts has indeed accumulated quite a few unusual things."
"But I'll need to go back and sort through them first. I can't tell you exactly how many we have right now."
"That's fine. We don't need many; just a few that Ursaluna can use will be enough."
"So they're for Ursaluna."
Adaman suddenly understood, then couldn't help cracking a joke. "Then I'd better say this in advance: we can't hand over everything the Diamond Clan's saved up over the years. That's our family's nest egg."
