Ash and his friends said goodbye to Clefairy and continued to walk a distance in the cave, eventually successfully exiting the cave.
Originally, they were supposed to climb over Moon Mountain, a journey they estimated would take at least three days, but the cave Clefairy led them to seemed to be a shortcut. After passing through the cave, they were on a downhill path, and they realized they had been halfway up Moon Mountain just moments ago.
Based on this route, they estimated they could cross Moon Mountain by tomorrow noon, and then after walking a bit more, they could reach Cerulean City.
One must say, the favor Clefairy bestowed upon them was immense. Not only did they lead Ash and his friends to the shortcut cave, but Ash also unexpectedly gained a top-grade Pokemon here. Additionally, they obtained three top-grade Moon Stones, and ultimately, they saved half of the journey, so they could reach Cerulean City by around tomorrow noon.
All of this was thanks to Clefairy.
"Speaking of it... at the beginning, Clefairy probably didn't intend to bring us to that place where they held the ceremony, right? Although Clefairy seemed to really like Ash and wasn't particularly shy, it's still a place where their tribe holds mysterious ceremonies, and they wouldn't casually take strangers there. The reason they took us in seemed to be because of those three guys."
Sitting in front of the campfire, Ash and his two companions chatted. Misty recalled the scene when they first met Clefairy and those three guys who left a bad impression on them.
When they summed it up, they realized, hey, the reason they enjoyed these benefits was actually those three guys.
If it weren't for those three guys trying to catch Clefairy, Clefairy probably wouldn't have taken them to that prayer spot. Everything they gained today would have all been for naught.
In this light, did those three guys actually do a good deed?
"Sometimes, the painstaking scheming of bad people can't compare to the spur-of-the-moment actions of fools. Those three guys are probably both malicious and foolish, so their efforts to do bad things ended up benefiting us instead," Brock said with a hearty laugh.
Having obtained a top-grade Moon Stone, he was in a great mood. Even if he couldn't use it right away, he could sell it. The income of a few million was enough to keep him from worrying about the expenses of being a Breeder for a short while.
"But no matter what, bad people are bad people. Just because they intended to do something bad but ended up doing a good deed doesn't mean they're not bad," Misty said righteously, placing a piece of Pokemon food in front of the Ralts that Ash had released.
To bond well with the little one, Misty was extremely attentive, offering food and joking to make Ralts happy. After these efforts, the simple-hearted newborn finally accepted Misty.
Now Misty's gentle touch and feeding didn't make Ralts feel repulsed.
As for Brock… due to his reckless actions before, Ralts still didn't warm up to him, leaving him out in the cold.
"So nice, I wish I could feed that little one too," Brock said enviously. The newly joined Ralts quickly became the group's favorite.
Pikachu's status as the group favorite dropped, but he didn't feel any imbalance because he was also a Ralts fan! Who wouldn't want to spoil a little sister like her?
However, naturally, the one Ralts clung to the most was Ash, because Ash was her Trainer.
After playing with Ralts and learning some Psychic Type Pokemon care tips, everyone crawled into their sleeping bags to sleep.
Pikachu and Ralts slept on either side of Ash. Now, besides Pikachu, there was another Pokemon that frequently stayed outside its Pokeball.
Although Ash appeared to be asleep, he was actually already in the group chat sharing the joy of obtaining a new Pokemon.
...
[Newbie Ash: Guys, guys, I finally know what the Chosen Radiance is for!]
[Champion Ash: Oh? Has it come into effect already? I'm curious about what a one-time S-tier ability can do.]
Even Champion Ash, a veteran in the group, had never seen a one-time S-tier ability. Moreover, it wasn't an ability owned by any of the members he knew, so he was quite curious about what exactly 'Chosen Radiance' was meant for.
[Newbie Ash: The ability description says that within three days, I'll encounter a very rare Pokemon and there's a high chance I can capture it. And today, I encountered one that fell from the sky...]
Newbie Ash recapped his day starting from when they encountered Team Rocket until he obtained the top-grade Moon Stone for everyone in the group.
This magical experience made the group click their tongues in wonder.
[Ash the Aura Guardian: As expected of a one-time S-tier ability, it even lets you encounter a million-in-one Pokemon. This reads as 'Chosen Radiance' and spells as the destiny of the ultimate lucky guy.]
[Champion Ash: Your luck is quite otherworldly. In terms of luck, you could be considered the strongest in this group.]
[Newbie Ash: Heh, I didn't think my luck was this good. By the way, you mentioned earlier that S-tier qualifications have other special aspects aside from higher ability limits, what are they?]
[Champion Ash: Originally, I thought you wouldn't be able to capture an S-tier qualified Pokemon so quickly, but now, in just over ten days since you set out, you've captured an all S-tier qualified Pokemon. However, even so, the special use of S-tier qualifications is still far off for you.]
[Tactical Master Ash: That's right, you can't use that special aspect of the S-tier qualifications yet, but it doesn't hurt to tell you. Usually, Pokemon levels can be influenced by qualifications—some level up fast, others slowly—but there isn't a hard cap like Ability Values.
[Tactical Master Ash: But there's one level that's different, which is the Divine Domain Level. To progress to the Divine Domain Level, a requirement must be met: during the Champion Peak stage, at least three Ability Values need to reach S-tier to have a chance to progress to the Divine Domain Level. This is the conventional promotion process for the Divine Domain Level.]
The Divine Domain, the pinnacle level of the Pokemon world, differs from other levels in that it requires qualifications to enter, and the entry ticket is S-tier Ability Values.
Unlike other levels, where with enough effort and time you can possibly reach them—even Champions can be reached, albeit it depends on the time taken.
However, if you can't reach the Champion during the Pokemon's peak, it's hard to achieve this when the Pokemon's life nears its end and its body starts to decline. Although Pokemon have long lifespans, they aren't infinite.
But the Divine Domain is different. Simply put, if you lack more than three S-tier qualifications, even if you exhaust your entire life, you cannot reach that level.
This is because it's the distinction between gods and mortals.
