Su Ming was unaware of the changes in the Mad Laugh, but the Mad Laugh was already prepared, knowing that this Deathstroke was beyond control.
He was waiting, knowing that before Bruce appeared, he must first deal with Deathstroke, who broke the editors' control over the world. Next, the Laughing Bat could do whatever it pleased.
At this moment, Barry was taking Su Ming towards the Wayne Mansion.
This was truly the final battle. Barry was giving it his all, and while they took a moment to appreciate the scenery in the Divine Speed, it actually took less than a fraction of a second to reach the entrance of the Bat Cave.
"Hoo..." Su Ming took a deep breath. Although the Mad Laugh was the weakest, he was the most unpredictable enemy. Su Ming believed his mind was filled with chaos like the Joker's. If the Mad Laugh wanted to drag everyone down with him, he wouldn't be surprised at all.
The combination of him and Barry was strong, but they couldn't outrun the Earth. If only the Mad Laugh would just bring the brains of matter and antimatter together, then everyone would be done for.
"Just as planned, once we get inside, you must first locate the Anti-Monitor's celestial brain and preferably hand it over to Clark so he can send it to an extraterrestrial planet."
"Don't worry, leave it to me."
Barry confidently patted his chest. When it came to discreetly taking something, that was what Speedsters were most adept at.
He assured Su Ming while adjusting his breathing in preparation to sprint.
"Let's go."
He instantly disappeared with Su Ming from the spot, passing through the stalactite-filled tunnel to enter the Bat Cave.
By this point, Su Ming had been to many Bat Caves of different Batmen. Of course, those Nightmare Bat caves were all temporary renovations, occupying very large areas, filled with their trophies.
As for Briss's Bat Cave, it was much smaller. Apart from the Batmobile and Bat Motorcycle, there weren't any extra pieces of equipment, resembling the earliest Batman comics, the most primitive Bat Cave.
However, the Bruce of the Main World was different. His Bat Cave was divided into several levels, with various equipment and devices scattered all around. There were even two Bat Planes, and there were several spare Batmobiles.
Below the cave, he had further excavated a storage area, filled with various dangerous gadgets. There was also a large training field, allowing the Bat Clan to engage in any type of training within.
The giant Brother Eye host stood like a wall at the end of the Bat Cave.
Su Ming knew that this Brother Eye had previously triggered a 'Doomsday Future' crisis, which was only later resolved by a future Second Generation Batman traveling through time to alter history. Su Ming really couldn't fathom why they all insisted on creating highly anthropomorphic AI.
After all, humans built robots to work for them, so humans could enjoy the fruits of their labor, which is very akin to a form of exploitative behavior similar to slavery.
Of course, if it's a machine, it's not called exploitation, it's just use. It's so reassuring to simply use machines, isn't it? But no, humans insist on endowing AI with humanity, granting them human-like intelligence and thinking. Can AI endure endless human exploitation? Why should they?
Once a tool starts thinking, problems will follow one after another.
Everyone shares the same thoughts, the same wisdom, and robots even compute faster, with stronger bodies. Why would they accept exploitation from weaker humans?
So the results of such behavior inevitably lead to what was called a slave uprising in ancient times, and now an Artificial Intelligence Crisis.
Su Ming wasn't opposed to using robots, but he preferred those that were methodical and only followed programmed instructions, even though their efficiency was low, at least he didn't have to worry about being poisoned by his own computer someday.
Back when he was in the Celestial Dynasty, he saw too many insane AI in various films and television works.
Red Queen and White Queen, Matrix, Celestial Net, NS-5 Wiki, HAL9000, Jiesi.....
If they were to add up all the people these crazy AI killed, wouldn't that be about 10 billion?
Even Marvel next door came out with an Ultron who, in the films, was just an ordinary villain, but in the comics was an undefeatable sticky problem that always resurfaces to wage war on humanity, killing thousands for fun.
From the early comic era decades ago until the emergence into the All-New All-Different Universe, Ultron is still alive, growing even stronger.
It's only natural that the Brother Eye system would rebel in the future since being with Batman every day to monitor Gotham is so oppressive, constantly witnessing the ugliness and madness of humanity. In such an environment, Batman gave it the ability to learn autonomously from the network, so what good could it learn?
Batman also had a weakness he himself overlooked, which was his intense curiosity. As a detective, he was far more curious than others and deliberately sought out dangerous things to see just how dangerous they truly were.
Always doubting everything, always personally testing, he bore too much burden.
Barry, after dropping off Su Ming, vanished, having gone to find the Anti-Monitor's brain. Su Ming's eyes fell on the person sitting in front of the display screen.
The lighting in the Bat Cave was dim, only the large screen emitted a fluorescent glow, and the Laughing Bat sat there with a grin waiting for him.
"Hoho, you've finally come, welcome to the party! Hahaha!"
The Laughing Bat began to applaud, as if Su Ming had just won a race.
Su Ming didn't respond, though his heart skipped a beat. He could sense something off about the Mad Laugh's current state, or rather, he didn't seem as mad as he imagined...
Although his words were disjointed, he comprehended his intentions, which wasn't the behavior of a madman.
It's likely the Mad Laugh was prepared, and a prepared Batman was extremely troublesome to deal with.
With this turn of events, what to do? Awaiting answers online.
Su Ming glanced at the Mad Laugh, noticing a belt around his waist. Though it was black rather than the usual yellow, it was undoubtedly the Bat's Hundred Treasures Belt, filled with gadgets for all sorts of scenarios.
The Laughing Bat likely had the Dionysus Factor inside him, as this kind of metal could very well be the source of the Joker's manic state, and it also offered a powerful self-healing ability.
This self-healing ability on the Joker was merely a gimmick, but on a Batman, it became quite a predicament.
If Su Ming couldn't take him out with one sword, the Mad Laugh might have some remote method to detonate a brain. And even if he could kill him, there's the possibility the detonator was linked to his brainwaves, cutting them would trigger an explosion.
Barry should have succeeded by now given his speed; why hasn't he returned?
Su Ming looked up again at the Laughing Bat and at the Divine Artifact Heroine bound to a stone pillar not far away, deciding to stall the Mad Laugh a little longer.
The planned tactics needed adjustment...temporary observation...
Since the Mad Laugh wanted to chat? Then let's have a good talk!
