Vivian's POV
Make sure they have her contained.
The words hit me like ice water. Liam stood in the garage with his back to me, phone pressed to his ear, completely unaware I had walked in. I should have announced myself, should have made noise, but something in his tone froze me in place.
He was talking about Abby. Had to be.
We'll discuss what to do with her when I get back.
What the hell did that mean? What were they planning to do to my sister?
I schooled my features into careful neutrality as he ended the call and turned around.
"Killian isn't driving us?" I asked, scanning the garage. My eyes widened at the collection of vehicles surrounding us. Even someone who knew nothing about cars could recognize luxury when they saw it, and this garage was filled with it.
"No." His answer was clipped, final. "Is it so terrible that I want time alone with my wife?"
I forced my lips into what I hoped looked like a smile. "Of course not."
