Chapter 45 - Confrontation for Trust

He called for Kuro, who was on the balcony(God knows what he was doing).

Kuro came in an instant, not aware of what had just happened.

"Yes, master?"

Si-Hun was acting too calm.

Kuro noticed his strange behaviour.

"I want you to find out exactly where this guy Lee Hyun-Woo is."

"What? Why do you wanna know about someone so suddenly?''

"Just…do it. Don't ask questions."

"Okay," Kuro said and disappeared.

He came after a few seconds.

"He's right now not at a specific location…he's in his car and on his way towards the Cityview Resort."

Si-Hun's eyes turned dark.

"I'll be back in some time…" Saying this, he left the apartment while taking his helmet from the table.

In the parking lot, he took out his bike and put on his helmet.

He fled his bike straight to the location Kuro had told him.

"This Hyun-Woo bastard needs some grooming…Imma give him what his parents failed to give…respect." Si-Hun said under his breath.

The rest of the ride was quiet, just Si-Hun's bike's noise and the city life.

He followed that same road, and because he was near that road than Hyun-Woo.

The road was not near a crowded place.

The Cityview Resort was almost out of the city.

There were no cars on the road, which made it easier for Si-Hun to know which car was Hyun-Woo's.

He stopped his bike in the middle of the road and stood leaning against it with his helmet hanging off the left handle.

The atmosphere was pretty dark with only a few streetlights at a distance, and there were a few trees and mostly fields.

Soon enough, there was light…it was his car's headlights.

"Well, well…who's here…" Si-Hun spoke under his breath.

He was intimidatingly calm.

Hyun-Woo, as he came closer, noticed Si-Hun blocking the road.

"Who's this bastard blocking the way at this hour!?" He said, frustrated.

He honked his horn, but when Si-Hun didn't move an inch, he got out of his car and walked towards Si-Hun.

"Hey, you! Why are you blocking the damn road!?"

"Whoa, whoa, calm down, mister…You're pretty lousy, I can see."

"What?"

"Tch. Forget it. Let's get to the main business." Si-Hun said as he stood straight and took a few slow steps towards Hyun-Woo, who instinctively took a step back, intimidated.

"W-what are you doing!?"

"Just…seeing how such a petty guy can get near her.''

"Near who?"

Si-Hun's eyes turned dark, and his anger slowly grew.

He narrowed his eyes and grabbed Hyun-Woo by the collar.

Hyun-Woo let out a scoff, but behind it lay absolute fear.

Si-Hun's eyes were dark.

"I don't like people acting innocent for their mistakes. You clearly know what I'm talking about…"

Hyun-Woo's throat was tightened because of his collar, which made it hard to breathe.

"How dare you force a girl!?" Si-Hun finally raised his voice.

"I-I dint force anyone! I swear!"

"LIAR!" Si-Hun said and left his collar with such force that he fell down with a loud thud.

Hyun-Woo, knowing that the guy in front of him was no match for him, tried crawling towards his car, but Si-Hun grabbed him by the collar again and slammed him on the hood of his car.

He groaned in pain, the corner of his lips bleeding.

"Motherf*cker." Si-Hun said, his voice laced with intimidation, even though not the loudest.

The man tried standing up, but before he could, Si-Hun punched him in the face, and he again landed on the car's hood.

His punch was hard, pushing against his face, breaking two of his teeth.

But Si-Hun wasn't satisfied.

'This guy doesn't even know how a real man is." He thought.

He clenched his jaw and punched him again, this time harder.

He hadn't forgotten Su-Yeon's soft sobs, and remembering it, his rage just grew like petrol to fire.

He couldn't let her suffer again when she didn't let him.

He was ready to go out of his way, even if it meant killing someone.

No one had ever shown care for him as she showed.

He glanced at Hyun-Woo, his gaze filled with silent rage that seemed to radiate through his eyes like smoke from the fire that was inside him.

Hyun-Woo's nose was bleeding, and one of his eyes was bruised.

"P-please…I apologize! I-I'm truly sorry…Please…don't!" He begged Si-Hun, but Si-Hun wasn't ready for mercy.

"Shut up," Si-Hun said, but Hyun-Woo still begged, which annoyed Si-Hun.

He didn't listen to him and punched him once again, making him stop talking.

Hyun-Woo's breathing was unsteady, and he looked as if he would die right there if Si-Hun punched him once more.

"He'll die if I hit one more time." Si-Hun thought.

He then wiped the corner of his lips and stared at Hyun-Woo's terrible state, his face emotionless without any mercy.

His punches were already harsher than he intended.

Hyun-Woo looked at him, who was already looking at him.

His forehead was slightly covered with his hair.

Si-Hun leaned a little closer and whispered to Hyun-Woo's ear

"I dare you to touch her again and see what happens." He said, his voice commanding.

That single statement sent shivers down Hyun-Woo's spine, and he nodded quickly with all the strength he had.

Si-Hun then leaned back and looked at him for the last time, and then walked to his bike, put on his helmet, and drove away.

"He wouldn't go near her again." Si-Hun thought.

The ride home was satisfactory, but Si-Hun's knuckles were covered in blood.

He reached his apartment, and as he opened the apartment door, he saw Kuro walking here and there in the house, clearly restless.

"What happened? Why're you moving here and there like this?''

Kuro stopped and looked at Si-Hun.

He didn't notice the blood marks yet.

"Si-Hun…"

Before he could speak any more, there was a knock on the door.

Si-Hun was standing just near the door, and he hadn't closed it fully.

He turned backwards to see who it was.

It was…MinJun.

Si-Hun froze for half a second…his hands…the blood…

Minjun noticed it immediately.
