Chapter 35 - "TAKE US TO YOUR MASTER"

Si-Hun's eyes darkened as they met with the monsters.

The monster was large.

The green horns on its head brought out the brown color of its skin.

The monster smiled, looking at Si-Hun.

He licked at Si-Hun.

Si-Hun returned him the same smirk.

"Hey…you're starting rivalry now," Si-Hun said sarcastically.

The monster stepped forward and lifted the weapon he had in his hand – a large piece of wood covered in nails.

That looked intimidating.

"Not so fast, come on!" He said as he took a step forward.

The monster looked confused and stared at Si-Hun.

Si-Hun, taking advantage of the moment, teleported to a corner.

"He…disappeared?" One of the guys said.

Si-Hun was at a corner.

He had to work fast.

He shoved his hand in his bag and took out his dagger.

That dagger that always supported him in every raid, being his only audience that actually mattered.

"There you are." He said, sliding his hand over the smooth blade.

"You may get hurt during the raid."

He then teleported back again in front of the monster.

"Sorry. I had some work. So…where were we?"

The monster growled and dragged his weapon.

Si-Hun quickly got into action and

"Lightning Strike!" In that moment, the monster's weapon flew away from his hands and smashed right against the wall.

The lightning also damaged the monster.

The monster looked shocked and wanted to run away.

But Si-Hun wasn't gonna let him off so easily.

The monster fell to his knees, his weight making a loud thud on the ground.

"He gave up so easily. I've never seen a monster do that."

Si-Hun noticed how he was understanding the environment better than before.

His understanding of the monster and how he was feeling defeated was so pronounced.

"Wait…what if he…"

"Take me to our boss," He said coldly while placing his dagger on the monster's shoulder.

"It's one of those monsters that I've heard…are trapped in the portals. I've been told that they are actually not evil, just instructed. And people have interacted with them through their weapons. It's a form of communication since monsters…can't talk." He thought in his head.

Everyone behind him stood with their jaws dropped to the floor, and eyes wide in shock.

"AHH! WHAT IS HE DOING!????" Ha-Rin shouted.

"~He really is so hot!!!" Na-Ri said, drooling over him.

Si-Hun looked at the girls from the corner of his eye and furrowed his brows.

The monster stood up and started walking in a straight direction.

Everyone followed him.

"This time isn't a time to be scared. We need to act before we are acted upon," Si-Hun thought.

He knew that in the direction they were walking, danger lay

They stopped in front of an entrance that was covered with grape leaves that fell over so long.

Si-Hun's breath hitched, just a little.

"Be prepared." He said, keeping his calm.

Everyone gasped, and fear started taking over gradually.

Not too dominant, but present right there.

"Don't be afraid. That won't help." Si-Hun assured.

"Yes! We have to listen to this man! Let's all not be scared!" One of the men chanted.

"Yeah…I'll blindly trust this man," Ha-Rin said, winking in a situation like THIS.

Si-Hun smiled, just a curve of his lips that lingered.

Just then, the leaves lifted, revealing…a LARGE group of those cupids.

And behind those flying creatures stood a large beast with tiny wings on its back that probably didn't even help.

"Shitty…" Si-Hun whispered.

"WHAT IS THAT THING!?" One of the men spoke.

"Aw, he has wings on his back!" Na-Ri chanted.

"This is not a time for a joke!" A guy shouted.

They were stuck in the middle of a flock of those creatures.

But that honestly…didn't seem like a big deal.

"Just like I wanted," Si-Hun said with a low smirk playing on his lips.

"LIGHTNING STRIKE!" He chanted, his voice echoing through the dungeon.

In a matter of seconds, 1/3 of those Cupids' wings and bodies were burned.

"What the f*ck is he chanting!?"

"Don't ask me! I am not surprised at this point.

He killed all the cupids with the lightning strike move.

"Perfect." He said, his voice barely above a whisper.

It was only the boss left, who was shocked seeing a human alone take all of his Cupids down.

The boss had a stick in his hands, and using that, he struck a white light on the floor.

Everyone's eyes followed its way.

The light was near reaching their group.

"W-we'll die! Do something!" Na-Ri shouted.

"What are you waiting for!?"
