After settling into the homestead that was assigned to me, the first thing I took the effort to do was plunge myself deep into warm water.
I stayed in the large wooden bowl that worked quite well for a bathtub for more than an hour, sinking my body and thinking about my situation.
'How philosophical… I'm deep down in water not twice at the same time, this should not be possible.'
Who'd believe me back on Earth if I told them I had taken a warm bath while being immersed in an ocean? I would simply be called a Guinness award–deserving liar. White Feather wouldn't hold a candle to my name.
They could even adopt my identity as concepts in movies.
I shook my head.
'Yet here I am…'
I leaned my head back on the rim of the basin and stared at the wooden interlocking roof while quieting the noise in my head.
No matter what, though, I couldn't fully extinguish the noise.
