Emma's POV
I rolled my eyes. "Another trick." She glared at me and pulled Thomas. "Please listen, you can't marry her unless you want her dead."
"Dead?" Wow. I'm used to death threats now, it sounds normal to me.
"The queen knows you left the kingdom, and she already told her guards to watch you. I'm the only one who can marry you, Thomas," she said pitifully.
"What do you mean by you're the only one? I'll handle my mom myself…"
"You don't believe me?" She sniffed and smiled bitterly. "I suddenly became a qualified candidate because my new parents are rich. And now you want to push me aside because of her?" She pointed at me.
"I met you first, I loved you first, my prince. I was almost destroyed by your mother. You didn't even come to save me. I always saw your men watching me." She pointed at Thomas again. "Don't tell me you don't love me anymore. I'm your first love, and we never even fought before we separated."
"Jeezzz, she went too far," Allison scoffed.
