Allison POV
After I escaped from Ethan, I hurried the guards to trace her. Raine said she'd seen Elena peeking into Elijah's affairs and she directed me to the backyard. And then I saw her on the phone.
"Hello? Hello? Ahh!!! What is wrong with this network!" she growled, she snatched the phone on the floor and growled. "The network is awful here. As beautiful as it is, it is so useless! How am I supposed to tell the queen about Prince Ethan's secret girlfriend?"
Secret girlfriend? And she can't call her? I sighed in relief. Good, if she can't call the queen, that's one problem gone. At least for now, I was about to turn and leave when she suddenly stopped me.
"Hey, you!"
My heart jumped. Oh no, how was I supposed to explain what happened? I forced a smile and gathered my courage. "Uhmm… the thing is…."
"Shut up! Who are you to speak first?" she snapped.
