Chapter 272 - Chapter 270: Kael's Solution

After the Howler ended, a few people chuckled, and the conversations gradually resumed.

Ron was still hiding under the table.

Harry lowered his head in guilt, unable to eat.

Fred and George weren't in a good mood either... Mr. Weasley was going to be scrutinized and could very likely lose his job over this.

They wanted to say something, maybe complain about Ron, or admonish him to think more about the consequences before acting.

But those words ultimately turned into a sigh.

Clearly, saying these things now wouldn't help.

Kael looked at them, asking, "You're worried about Mr. Weasley, right?"

Fred and George nodded.

Obviously, they couldn't possibly be worried about Ron.

"I do have an idea that might help Mr. Weasley pass the scrutiny smoothly." Kael considered for a moment and said, "Do you want to hear it?"

"..."

"Oh, dear Mr. Kael… I knew you would have an idea." Fred's face was filled with a flattering smile, making him look more like a sidekick than Crabbe and Goyle.

George also diligently made an extremely large bacon and egg sandwich, placing it on Kael's plate.

Ron came out from under the table, and Harry and Hermione also turned to look over.

"It's simple, just shift the focus of the matter."

Kael looked at Harry and asked, "I heard you couldn't get onto the platform, so you flew to school, right?"

"Exactly, that's it." Harry nodded repeatedly.

He still couldn't figure out why the platform entrance turned into an ordinary brick wall when he approached it.

"So, Kael, you mean the focus is the platform that couldn't be passed through?" Cedric frowned and asked.

"Exactly." Kael nodded.

"But we mentioned it earlier." Harry sighed, "Professor McGonagall didn't care at all; she thought we should have sent an owl to notify the school."

In his view, even Professor McGonagall thought so, so the people at the Ministry of Magic would probably think the same way.

"That's because you didn't express it the right way."

Kael smiled and said, "Don't forget, Potter, you have another identity besides being a Hogwarts student."

"I have another identity?" Harry was a bit puzzled.

"The Savior!" Conna suddenly said.

"Yes." Kael said, "Normally, the platform would absolutely not have any problems; someone must have interfered with it.

Just coincidentally, with all the adults absent, the Savior was blocked outside the platform... Do you think maybe it was the Death Eaters?"

Cedric took a sharp breath.

"They're trying to seize the opportunity to kill Harry to avenge You-Know-Who?!"

Harry, too, wore a horrified expression; he hadn't thought of this before.

Could it be true like Kael said, that he narrowly escaped death?

"That's right." Kael took a sip of lemonade.

"The Death Eaters have been plotting for a long time, wanting to kill the Savior to avenge Vo—well, You-Know-Who."

Seeing the shock on everyone's faces, Kael had to change the name, then continued:

"Luckily, Mr. Weasley anticipated that this would happen and pre-arranged a flying car just in case, allowing Harry to escape such a disaster.

What do you all think of this explanation?"

"That car was pre-arranged by Dad?" Fred blinked.

If he didn't understand Mr. Weasley's character so well, he might really have believed it.

"Exactly, it was pre-arranged." Kael said knowingly.

"But, will people at the Ministry of Magic believe it?" George frowned.

He wasn't sure about others, but Malfoy would certainly not believe it; his dad had always been at odds with that guy, and he wouldn't let this opportunity slip by.

"Whether they believe it doesn't matter, what's important is whether such a scenario is even possible."

"Just think about it, if the Savior were really killed by Death Eaters at King's Cross Station, it would be equally disastrous for the Ministry of Magic."

"Their authority would suffer a heavy blow, and as the Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge would be overwhelmed by Howlers, possibly even having to step down because of it."

"Fudge is a suspicious person, especially when it comes to his position as Minister of Magic; he would believe even the slightest possibility."

"By the way, Potter, did anyone see you failing to get into the station?"

Kael looked at Harry: "I mean a Muggle at the station."

"I seem to remember a guard saw it..." Harry said instinctively, "He even asked if I needed help."

"Great, we have the most crucial evidence... that Muggle's memory."

Kael chuckled.

Everyone else's expressions were priceless.

"Kael, do you want some Butterbeer?" Fred suddenly asked.

He originally wanted to brush this matter away, but now thinking about it... he decided against it,

If Kael got upset, he might not even know how he'd ended up dead.

"So what do we do next?" Harry, for his part, didn't think too much and eagerly asked, "Do I need to write a letter to the Ministry of Magic?"

He was willing to do anything as long as he could help Mr. Weasley resolve the issue quickly.

"You do need to write a letter, but not to the Ministry of Magic, to her..."

Kael pointed at the open copy of the "Daily Prophet" on the table.

On the front page, aside from a picture of a flying Ford Anglia, was a bold headline,

"Arthur Weasley, a Villain Under the Façade of Kindness"

This was written by Rita Skeeter, not only condemning Mr. Weasley for abusing his position and modifying magical vehicles but also subtly hinting that he took advantage of his position to receive benefits from Pure-Blood Families.

At the end of the article:

"An anonymous victim stated: Arthur wanted Galleons from me. When I refused, he ransacked my house and even stepped on a precious Unicorn Hair Carpet."

"That must be Malfoy!" Fred's face turned red with anger.

"He's lying!" George smacked the newspaper, "I wish Dad took some benefits, then we wouldn't have to work to buy Ginny her new robes."

"Calm down, we know Mr. Weasley's character, but now is not the time to dwell on these things."

Kael pointed at Rita Skeeter's name.

"We can do exactly what Malfoy did, and leak some 'reliable information' to her."

"I get it." Fred thought for a moment, then smiled, "Leave it to us."

"Remember, don't make it too obvious." Kael reminded, "Let her figure it out herself."

"No problem!" George patted his chest, "We know what to do."

The three shared a knowing smile, everything understood without words.

Only the innocent Harry looked at them in confusion, "What exactly are you talking about... so who am I supposed to write to?"

"Leave the letter-writing to Fred and George."

Kael said, "You just need to insist, when someone asks, that someone doesn't want you to return to school."

"Alright, all right!"

Harry seemed a bit nervous and kept asking Kael what he should say if others asked different questions.

But this time, Kael didn't give a standard answer, only telling him to try to remain silent when he didn't know how to respond.

It wasn't really necessary.

The details of the process aren't something they need to worry about; someone will handle it... after all, Rita Skeeter is best at this kind of thing.
