"Then let it backfire."
Yugen shrugged indifferently.
"Well then, choose 'Long Spear Dragon'."
[Long Spear Dragon, Attack Power 1900]
The image of Long Spear Dragon from Mr. T's hand was projected onto the field. The dragon with a spear-like mouth roared, sending Brother Dolphin's sound waves back. Unable to destroy the monster in Mr. T's hand, Yugen's attack rebounded back onto himself.
[Yugen, LP4000→ LP3500]
However, Yugen was quite calm. Brother Dolphin's own Attack Power was only 800, so he was certainly prepared for the possibility that the opponent might not have a monster with lower attack power.
But a mere 500 Life Points was insignificant, and having a glimpse of the opponent's hand and understanding the opponent's deck didn't come at a loss. After all, Mr. T used a different deck each time he appeared, and seeing the hand could provide early intelligence, preparing psychologically for the future direction of the duel.
"Set a card, turn ends."
Mr. T: "My turn, draw."
He added the drawn card to his hand, then pulled another card from his hand, smiling: "Since you've already seen it, let's skip the small talk.
I'll directly activate the Continuous Magic 'Future Fusion' from my hand!"
Above the field, it seemed as if it transformed into a void, space twisted, creating dazzling colorful illusions, as if a passage to an unknown future had truly opened.
"Future Fusion allows my monster to fuse in the future!" Mr. T said, "Send the necessary fusion materials from your deck to the graveyard, and during the preparation phase two turns later, Fusion Summon the Fusion Monster using these materials on my field!" (old effect)
Mr. T shook the Fusion Monster in his hand: "The one I want to fuse, of course, is Five Emperors Dragon!
The fusion materials for Five Emperors Dragon are five Dragon-type monsters. Therefore, I can send any five Dragon-type monsters from my deck to the graveyard!"
He quickly searched his deck for five cards and sent them to the graveyard one by one. The images of the five dragons briefly flashed in the air, though entering the graveyard, they seemed to be preparing.
Yugen: "Two turns later... maybe not needed?"
"Haha, indeed!" Mr. T laughed, "Next, I'll activate the Magic Card 'Dragon's Mirror' from my hand!
Remove the fusion material monsters from the graveyard from the game, and Fusion Summon a Dragon-type Fusion Monster!
I exclude the five Dragon-types from the game, Fusion Summon—
—Five Emperors Dragon!!!"
The shadows of the five dragons just sent to the graveyard emerged again, intertwined in the void and fused into the Dragon's Mirror. Within the mirror, a gigantic energy vortex twisted as if lava was erupting.
The Dragon's Mirror shattered, and from the whirlpool, a massive body descended like an eclipsing presence. The emerald green dragon head exhaled a hurricane. The deep blue dragon scale head rolled up towering waves, the throat as red as lava churned with flames, pitch-black pupils flickered with shadows, the earthy brown jaw shook loose countless rocks.
When the last piece of dragon wings unfolded, the shadow blanketed the entire field. All five vertical pupils illuminated simultaneously, the dragon's roar inducing elemental tides.
[Five Emperors Dragon, Attack Power 5000]
Even as a spectator, Judai's body trembled slightly.
Of course, it was excitement.
"Ohhhh the legendary Five Emperors Dragon, the monster with the highest Attack Power in Duel Monsters!" Judai excitedly exclaimed, "In terms of attack power alone, even Divine City cannot match this mighty monster..."
"Indeed, this is Five Emperors Dragon!"
Mr. T shouted.
"And then I Normal Summon 'Long Spear Dragon' from my hand!"
[Long Spear Dragon, Attack Power 1900]
"Sorry Duel King, maybe you want me to test decks? But I have no interest in going slow, I'll end this in this turn!
Long Spear Dragon, attack 'Water-colored Dolphin'!"
[New Space Hero: Water-colored Dolphin, Defense Power 800]
Long Spear Dragon flapped its wings and flew out, its spear-like mouth piercing forward, directly penetrating Brother Dolphin's defense. Brother Dolphin exploded, countless bubbles and torrents bursting outward.
[Yugen, LP3500→ LP2400]
"When Long Spear Dragon attacks a defense position monster, if its attack power surpasses the defense power, it inflicts any excess damage as piercing damage." Mr. T said, "However, when this card attacks, it must switch to defense position after the Damage Step ends."
[Long Spear Dragon, Attack Power 1900→Defense Power 0]
"Now your field is empty." Mr. T sneered, "Final strike!
Five Emperors Dragon, direct attack!"
All five dragon heads raised simultaneously, their throats gleaming with five-colored strange light. A viscous dark matter torrent, spiral lava flame column, vacuum wind blades whipped into a silver storm, high-pressure bubbles crystallized countless frozen spikes standing, rocks wrapped in sulfurous magma from rockfall.
Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, and Darkness merged into one, transforming into a chaotic impact directed toward Yugen!
"Then activate the set card." Yugen said, "Trap Card 'New Cosmic Expansion'!
Select any number of 'New Space Hero' monsters from your hand or graveyard, Special Summon them onto the field in defense position. However, the effects of monsters Special Summoned by this effect are negated."
Three cards slid out of Yugen's graveyard.
"Special summoning these three New Spaces in defense position.
First, those sent to the graveyard by the effect of 'Transformation Contact': 'New Space Hero: Earth Mole', 'New Space Hero: Dark Panther'!"
[New Space Hero: Earth Mole, Defense Power 300]
[New Space Hero: Dark Panther, Defense Power 500]
"And then the Water-colored Dolphin just destroyed in battle!"
Transparent water currents gathered on the field, countless bubbles reformed into a blue-white body. Brother Dolphin returned to the field for the second time, crouching down defensively on its horizontal card.
[New Space Hero: Water-colored Dolphin, Defense Power 800]
A sudden defensive line of three New Spaces!
Mr. T grimaced, "Stubborn, but that's quite stubborn... then, first, let me smash that dolphin again."
Thus, Five Emperors Dragon concentrated its target on Brother Dolphin, Water-colored Dolphin exploded into fragments once more.
"Turn ends." Mr. T said lightly, "Summoning so many small fry at once, trying to delay time?"
He smirked mockingly.
"Is this the king's tactic?"
"Delay time? No, no." Yugen shook his head, "This turn, you'll fall to the hands of the New Spaces."
"What?" Mr. T frowned.
Fall at the hands of the New Spaces? Four monsters, none with attack power exceeding a thousand, against his invincible Five Emperors Dragon?
Is it a joke?
"If you don't believe it, just watch.
My turn, draw."
Yugen said.
"First, activate the Magic Card 'New Space Gift'. While a New Space Hero exists on the field, based on the number of types of New Space Heroes on the field, draw cards from the deck.
I have two types of New Space Heroes on the field, so I draw two cards from the deck."
Yugen swiftly drew two.
"Then, Normal Summon 'Cross Transporter' from my hand!"
