Lina's expression shifted slightly, and she said in a deep voice, "You... didn't even check your opponent's information before the match?"
Unlike the others, their Superpower team, although making their first appearance in WRGP this pre-selection match, was already a renowned team, having once won a team championship in North America last year in a major event.

Yugen: "Normal Summon 'Fruitful Artemis'!"
Holy light descended on Yugen's field, the brilliance forming into the shape of a snow-white Angel. White wings spread open amidst the glow, a radiant angel of fruition slowly descended from the heavens.

The audience reacted indifferently, but any veteran card player would have probably cursed out loud seeing this.
Counterattack Angels!
Yes, this was another of Yugen's accomplishments during his return to the GX Dimension, a deck famous in competitive history, created through his research lab and Kaiba Group's latest inventory, Counterattack Angels.
The name suggests, Counterattack Angels are a fusion of "Counterattack Trap" and the "Angel Race." As well-known, Counterattack Trap is the highest effect of speed three in Yu-Gi-Oh!, meaning "Counterattack Trap cannot be chained by anything other than Counterattack Trap." Such powerful rules make Counterattack Trap a natural strong resistance.
Counterattack Angels exploit this feature to the fullest. Most of the Angels in this deck have effects related to Counterattack Trap, and the deck is constructed with a large number of Counterattack Traps—if one spreads out the deck, the conspicuous expanse of red cards is sure to make anyone gasp in shock, scared off.
Yugen: "Fruitful Artemis, attack 'Celestial Eye'."
The Angel soared towards the clown telekinesis practitioner on the opponent's field.
Lina immediately responded: "Then, at this moment, activate 'Celestial Eye's effect!"
This card, when selected as an attack target, requires paying 800 Life Points to nullify the attack!

Lina almost spat blood on the track.
Are you saying, not only are you participating alone, carelessly ignoring opponents' information... but also don't care about your own deck for the competition?

As previously mentioned, after Yugen, renamed as the new king Taiyi, modified the rules, the original High-speed World 2 rule scheduled for WRGP got abolished by Yugen. Therefore, the Speed Duel now resembles the manga version, emphasizing speed and impact sensation, though the duel rules themselves don't greatly differ from traditional dueling.
Thus, Ordinary Magic Cards can be used.

"Silent Telekinesis Priest, activate effect!" Lina said, "Once per turn, send one card from the hand to the graveyard to banish one Telekinesis Race Monster from the graveyard from the game."
Lina placed a card into the graveyard, and shortly one card from the graveyard presented, banished from the game.
"I banish 'Girl of Thought' from the graveyard."
