"Evil God."
Isis spoke lightly.
"I have heard from Lixid. You encountered one of the Three Evil Gods, the first of them, known as 'Evil God Eraser,' possessing a terrifying power to bring everything to an end and annihilate all within its sight.
But even so, such a god is merely the weakest among the Three Evil Gods."
Isis poured a cup of tea for Yugen, who accepted it and gave thanks.
Isis continued, "Besides the Evil God Eraser, there are the 'Evil God: Root of Fear' and the 'Evil God: Divine Incarnation.'
These three gods correspond to the Phantom Gods, possessing dreadful power capable of overthrowing the world and destroying everything."
Yugen already knew this, so he wasn't surprised, only asking, "But I heard these Three Evil Gods appeared years ago, battled Muto Yuugi, and were subsequently destroyed."
Isis nodded.
"In the past, Mr. Beckas couldn't resist the spiritual invasion of the Evil Gods, which led to the creation of these evil Three Gods, resulting in his adopted son Pegasus Nightwalker being controlled by the Evil Gods, almost causing a great catastrophe.
But after Muto Yuugi's Phantom God shattered the power of the Evil God, the International Fantasy Association indeed destroyed those three Divine Cards. Yet, cards are easy to destroy, but how could gods be so easily eradicated?
Though the Divine Cards are gone, the Evil Gods merely reverted to their state before being made into cards, biding their time to strike again."
Yugen asked, "So now they have returned?"
Isis shook her head, "No, they haven't fully returned. If they had completely returned to this world, there would be no need for such effort, to bother with things like the Descent Sect, to beguile a group of Elf Believers to help resurrect them."
Yugen said, "That sounds related to the elf I picked up."
Upon hearing itself mentioned, the large eyeball floated beside Yugen, remaining silent, just listening quietly.
Yugen asked, "Is it related to the resurrection of the Evil Gods?"
Isis replied, "It's currently just a hypothesis. You should know, our Tomb Guardian Race has safeguarded the Pharaoh's Phantom God for three thousand years. Though according to family rules, we only safeguard without actual possession, during this period, our family has also established a profound connection with the gods, gaining some insight into the domain of gods.
Because of this, the Tomb Guardian Race received recognition from the gods. Even without being Pharaohs or Priests, we possess the legitimate bloodline to wield the gods."
She glanced at the eye listening intently next to Yugen, then said,
"We speculate the true form of the Evil God might be lurking beyond this dimension, somewhere in the Elf World. And in that world, there are elves with a mission similar to our Tomb Guardian Race.
A group of watchers guards the tablets of the Evil God, day in and day out, preventing the power of the Evil God from falling into the wrong hands... until an incident occurred in the Sealed Land."
Yugen repeated, "An incident?"
Isis said, "We merely gathered some intelligence through indirect channels from some elves, just piecing together some fragments, which isn't necessarily accurate.
But from the clues we've pieced together, it seems that certain external forces attempted to assault the Sealed Land, awakening the Evil God, causing the seal to loosen."
Yugen asked, "External forces? Are there any suspects?"
"We currently know nothing." Isis said, "But elven rumors say the Sealed Land almost fell. The guardian elves were helpless, and a Guardian Spirit escaped to the outside of that realm, closing the return path and hiding the Sealed Land in the Elf Realm.
This way, no matter how outsiders target the Evil God, they can't find the Sealed Place within the vast dimensions.
The only way to find that Sealed Land and reopen the entry path is to once again find that Guardian Spirit."
Yugen had guessed by then, "It's this guy?"
He looked towards the floating large eye beside him, which also looked back at him innocently, as if asking, "Is it me?"
Isis also glanced at the eye, saying, "We weren't sure initially. But since the Descent Sect is so persistent about this elf, this rumor gains some credibility."
This indeed explains why the followers of the Evil God are so insistent on obtaining this eye; it's not because the card itself is so powerful or special, but because of the information it might hold.
And now it's lost all the information on the card, forgetting even its own identity, which could be explained as having wiped its memory to protect the whereabouts of the Evil God's Seal. Perhaps before it met Yugen, it was in grave danger, and to prevent itself from eventually falling into enemy hands, it erased its memory just in case.
How useful this was is unknown. It's like people say, the only way to truly erase all data from a disk is physical destruction; seemingly deleted data may not be irretrievable.
Currently, this elf seems to have completely forgotten its memory, but who knows? If it falls into the hands of Evil God's followers, there's no telling what methods they might possess to extract information.
Yugen recalled what Lixid said when inviting him, then asked, "About the Egyptian ruins, you said there's something more to show me?"
Isis nodded.
"I will finish my archaeological duties today, and tomorrow I plan to return to Egypt. If the Duel King is willing, you can join me. You will know everything when the time comes."
Isis said.
Since the other party didn't speak further, Yugen wasn't in a hurry to know everything that day. After dinner, Yugen didn't go out anymore and went back to his room to rest early.
...
...
"You've lost."
The leader of the Evil Gods, known as the supreme Evil God "Divine Incarnation," at this time, its enormous dark silhouette hung in midair, asking imperiously.
"This differs from your guarantee." The Evil God said.
Mr. T's figure stood below, looking up at the shadow, and said, "Indeed it was unexpected, though just a human, he's harder to deal with than I thought.
I was only a step away, who knew he suddenly pulled off some kind of infinite LOOP..."
The Evil God named Eraser immediately spoke, "I said! I told you! That human is weird! Did he non-stop cycle through your turns, throughout the entire duel it was all his turns, and then you died?"
Mr. T glared at it, pausing for a moment before shaking his head.
"No, he used an infinite loop to create an infinitely large indication of the World Tree, wiped my field clean, then used an attack power infinite... infinite Dandelion Lion to finish me off."
"Huh?"
Eraser was stunned for two seconds.
How does this not match my version?
"Enough."
Divine Incarnation said coldly.
"I thought you were a reliable ally, but I was wrong. The previous proposal is void, we don't need your power."
Mr. T frowned, trying to argue further, but was rudely interrupted by the other party.
"Leave, you're not welcome here anymore."
With that, before Mr. T could say another word, his figure twisted, and with a snap, dispersed into black fog.
The final Evil God among the Three Evil Gods, Root of Fear, remained silent for a long time before speaking after Mr. T disappeared, "Then, shall I try next?"
"No." said Divine Incarnation, "I will go personally."
The other two Evil Gods were surprised.
Eraser said, "But you're in a worse state than we are right now, you can't even manifest in the real world..."
"What?" said Divine Incarnation, "Do you think I'll fail like you, this trash?"
Eraser fell silent.
But for some reason, despite them being on the same side, it suddenly felt a strange impulse.
Hoping that deceitful human would teach the boss a lesson like it taught it, to know the strength it possessed.
