Mizuchi didn't explain, but Yugen seemed to have a vague impression of this eerie Moon Wheel Mirror.
This is one of the cards Mizuchi used in the original work, which hasn't been turned into a physical card. At first, it seemed like just a background element, only adding to the underworld atmosphere without any real purpose.
However, as Ed and Judai's duel with Mizuchi deepened, they discovered that whenever a monster on the field was destroyed, this thing would open an eye. It's inferred that its effect might be that each time a monster is destroyed, the card must place a counter.
When ten or more counters have accumulated, you can send the Moon Wheel Mirror on the field to the graveyard to activate a unique Field Spell from the Deck, "Infinite Demon-Slaying Mirror."
This is Mizuchi's ultimate combo. Her ace monster is called the "Dark God - Dark Deity," and the Infinite Demon-Slaying Mirror is the field that complements the Dark God. When the Dark God is on the field, the controller can summon an unlimited number of "Dark Deity Derivatives" on their field, all having the same stats and monster effect as the original.

Yugen said.
"Activate Magic Card 'Take Over 5,' send the top five cards of the deck to the graveyard."
He drew five cards and sent them to the graveyard, then glanced at the eerie Moon Wheel Mirror.
Even though gathering ten counters isn't that easy, it's still the opponent's trump card, so it's best to deal with it to prevent future troubles.
"Activate Magic Card 'Magic Removal'," Yugen said, "destroy one Magic Card on the field. Destroy Continuous Magic 'Moon Wheel Mirror.'"
Mizuchi: "!"
She was taken aback. Her deck is an embodiment of her own power, a unique type containing extraordinary power, most of which are not available on the market, so the opponent shouldn't know her deck, let alone what Moon Wheel Mirror does.
She hadn't explained the purpose of the Moon Wheel Mirror, yet despite that, the opponent decided to get rid of her mirror first.
Was it purely the Duelist's intuition with cards?
That's truly a terrifying intuition.
But Mizuchi wasn't someone easy to deal with either: "Then activate Cover Card, Trap Card 'Pandora's Treasure Scroll'!
When a card in my Magic Trap Zone becomes the target of an effect, redirect the effect to this card. After that, I draw two cards from the deck!" (Original Card)
The green light from Magic Removal veered off course, brushing past the Moon Wheel Mirror and hitting the recently flipped Cover Card in the backfield.
"Did you sense a threat from the Moon Wheel Mirror? Unfortunately." Mizuchi smiled as she drew two cards, "It won't be that easy."
"Indeed, the Saio siblings are quite something," Yugen shrugged, "then I summon the 'Micro Wind Air Hummingbird' in Defense Position."
A swirling wind arose, and a small, adorable bird riding the air currents appeared above Yugen.

"Next, I set two cards in the backfield, turn end."
Mizuchi pondered. Even though he had the initiative, he entirely focused on defense with no attacks, which involuntarily reminded her of Caesar's recent duel with Ed, where he also set cards in the backfield, not aligning with the Electronic School's image at all.
This similar dueling style, is there some connection between them?
"My turn, draw!"
Mizuchi temporarily put aside her questions. For her, a duel is like divination, a way to peek into the opponent's fate. She believes that as the duel continues, everything will become clear.
"Activate Magic Card 'Pot of Greed,' draw two cards from the deck."
"Then activate Magic Card 'Silver Crossroads: Mirror Path'!" (Original Card)
A silver cross emerged on the ground, accompanied by two massive mirrors rising up. Her Shikigami Ukyo stood right at the center of the cross, its image reflected in the mirrors on both sides.
"Silver Crossroads can only be activated by targeting a monster with Attack Power of 1000 or less on your own field." Mizuchi said, "I choose 'Silver Divine Spirit - Ukyo.'
The selected monster can attack directly this turn!"
Mizuchi waved her sleeve and commanded.
"Go, Silver Divine Spirit - Ukyo, direct attack on the Duel King!"
The Shikigami followed orders, leaping forward, only to vanish mid-flight, sucked into one of the mirrors. A moment later, from behind Yugen's Air Hummingbird, a mirror rose up, and Ukyo's reflection flew from the mirror, bypassing the front to attack Yugen directly.
However, just as Ukyo was about to land the attack, it suddenly crashed into an invisible barrier. It was as if the air currents had formed some sort of transparent vortex, acting like a screen blocking the attack.
"What?" Mizuchi frowned.
"Don't be so hasty," Yugen smiled, "Trap Card 'Atmospheric Barrier.'
While an Air Zone exists on my field, the opponent cannot declare an attack, and all my monsters cannot be destroyed by card effects this turn."
"I see, an Attack Seal, so even if you use the Silver Crossroads, you can't declare a direct attack," Mizuchi acknowledged, "but will it be that easy?
Activate Cover Card, Trap Card 'Trap Powerlessness'!
After activation, all other Traps except for this card on the field become ineffective this turn!"
Mizuchi flipped another card in the backfield, unleashing a domineering energy fluctuation. The Air Vortex of the Atmospheric Barrier was forcibly suppressed, and the defensive barrier seemed about to collapse.
"Effects from cards activated later are processed first. Once Trap Powerlessness takes effect, your Atmospheric Barrier becomes ineffective," Mizuchi chuckled.
"Indeed, later effects are processed first. So before your Trap Powerlessness takes effect..."
Yugen snapped his fingers again.
"Activate Cover Card, Continuous Trap 'Restricted Revival.'
Revive a monster with Attack Power of 1000 or less from my graveyard in Attack Position."
Mizuchi's expression changed slightly, "Restricted Revival's effect takes precedence, and it will bypass the Trap Powerlessness's negation..."
"Exactly," Yugen confirmed, "I revive this card from the graveyard—
——Synthetic Air Hummingbird!"

Yugen revealed another Air card. The smallest of the Air Hummingbirds soared from the vortex on the ground, letting out a high-pitched chirp.
"Air Hummingbird!"

"So, the Trap effects have been processed, and Atmospheric Barrier's defense has been negated by 'Trap Powerlessness,'" Mizuchi stated, "the effect of Silver Crossroads allows Ukyo to attack directly this turn. Even with more monsters, you can't defend against it.
The battle continues, Silver Divine Spirit - Ukyo, direct attack!"
Ukyo lunged forward again, but another transparent Air whirled up. Ukyo collided headfirst into the Air Barrier and was bounced back, disoriented.
"This time, why again?" Mizuchi wondered, "The Atmospheric Barrier has clearly been negated..."
"Indeed," Yugen chuckled, "but this time it's due to the effect of Air Hummingbird.
When an Air monster other than Air Hummingbird is on your field, the opponent cannot declare an attack."
