Joey Wheeler watched the sudden appearance of the silver-haired woman with caution. Her hair cascaded like the first snow of winter, and her deep eyes were like frozen glaciers, cold and intimidating.
"Me? My name is Alinora."
She slowly raised the Duel Disc in her hand. Even her Duel Disc was different from the usual models, resembling an ice-blue crystal that appeared almost transparent.
"I am here for you, Joey Wheeler."
"I won't allow you to be an obstacle to the Professor anymore."
Although Joey wasn't particularly smart, he had guessed part of the situation.
"You must be one of those bastards from the Otherworld, under that guy who kicked me there, huh?" Joey frowned, "Is that guy back again?"
"Haha, no. The Professor isn't here, nor does he know that I've come," Alinora sneered, "You're just a mortal, not worth the Professor's personal effort.
But I will prove to the Professor that I am stronger than that woman Mizuki."

"If by 'difficulty' you mean me, then prepare to be disappointed," Joey declared, "I, Joey Wheeler, am known for being tough, not so easy to knock down."
"Your fighting spirit is commendable," Alinora said coldly, "But no matter how strong your spirit, it will be frozen in my presence."

The mage, clad in ice-blue attire, wore robes that seemed forged from snow and held a staff as clear as ice, marked with a snowflake emblem.

The field suddenly froze, cold air billowing, and ice walls rose thunderously around them.
Aside from the visual effect, the attack power of Alinora's monsters didn't change, and Joey didn't notice any other differences.

The Demon's Summon and True Red Eye were drawn into the vortex of fusion. Two beams of red light burst from the whirlpool of the dark storm, golden thunder and dark red black flame tearing through the chaos, transforming into the Demon Dragon with True Red Eyes descending!

Joey was filled with enthusiasm.

Joey immediately sensed something was wrong.
His Fierce Demon Dragon seemed unresponsive to orders, standing motionless.
Turning around, he was shocked to find that his newly summoned Fierce Demon Dragon had been frozen into an ice sculpture, standing motionlessly, even the black flame on its body sealed within the strange ice sculpture.
"Fusion Summoning doesn't work in front of me."
Alinora spoke solemnly.
"I activated the Cover Card, Speed Attack Magic 'Fusion Freeze'!" (Original Card)
"What?" Joey was taken aback.
"Fusion Freeze, as the name suggests, can only be activated when the opponent Fusion Summons," Alinora said, "It freezes and destroys the summoned Fusion Monster.
The monsters used as Fusion Material are Special Summoned to the opponent's field, each gaining an 'Ice Indicator' due to this effect."
Clearly, this is an exclusive magic for the "Ice Indicator Card Deck," aimed at countering Fusion.
Ice Indicators are the cards used by Asuka Tenjouin in the GX Manga. In the manga, all the monsters used by Asuka were turned into physical cards, and even a few exclusive physical cards that didn't appear in the manga, such as new Ice Indicator Monsters, were released.
However, none of the Magic Traps used by Asuka were released, all were manga-exclusive.
Like the "Fusion Freeze."

If this were in a physical card environment, Alinora's Ice Mage could increase its Attack Power according to the number of Ice Indicators on the field. However, this ability wasn't present in the original manga.
In the original manga, the Ice Mage's effect was that by discarding a card from the hand, an Ice Indicator could be placed on a monster on the field, preventing it from changing position.
"Hmph, but even with the Fusion undone, my monster's Attack Power is still higher than your Ice Mage, so my output is even greater."
Joey waved his hand.

Yet there was still no movement.

Joey looked at his monsters in surprise, only to find that his field had unknowingly risen with ice barriers, encasing his Demon and Black Dragon in ice, unable to move.
"Field Spell 'Absolute Ice Wall' decreases the attack power of all monsters with 'Ice Indicators' by 500, and they cannot declare an attack!"
