Chapter 616 - Chapter 366: A Full Meal Speaks Louder Than Words

The Death Star approached with a storm, stopping horizontally at the landing point.

The gangway was lowered by the Demon Race subordinates, as Sage reached the side of the ship and looked up the sloping path that stretched upwards.

The whole island had this one landing spot, devoid of a port, simply barren, creating this upward road.

The island, being a basin, had a relatively high terrain.

"Just this one path..." Sage said.

"Master, this is our homeland."

A little over thirty West Sea people spoke cautiously from behind, "You can reach the town where we live by walking half a day from there."

"Half a day?"

Sage rolled his eyes, "I am a Great Pirate, do you think I walk? Renedia!"

From within the ship, Renedia's energetic voice echoed.

Vroom!

Immediately, the sound of an engine starting came from the cabin door, as it opened and a fierce-looking motorbike, like a large spread-out disc, shot out, smoothly landing on the deck.

"Thump thump thump!"

Renedia jumped onto the motorbike seat, baring her small tiger teeth, providing her own entrance sound effects.

"Capacity of twelve, each side and rear seat can hold three people, main seat holds three. Basic range of two thousand, full of power, plus jet system, swift and fast, easily crossing long distances!"

"Side seats equipped with machine guns, half-circle rotation, free shooting! Rear seat fitted with cannon, standard ten shells! Along the way, can strike any detected enemies!"

"Stable chassis, fearless of dangerous terrain. Body durable, can resist bullets and cannonballs. Good balance, skilled ones can even perform acrobatics!"

"Dual-use for land and sea, hybrid oil and electric, can add a bit of gasoline as necessary! The ultimate tool for family trips, group raids!"

"Oh!!"

Pearl, eyes glowing, exclaimed, "Where can I buy one then?"

"Fool, of course it's not for sale!"

Renedia thumb-pointed to herself proudly, "This was created by me, the genius shipwright and Mechanician, based on Pluton technology, the Round Cycle II! Not for sale, exclusively supplied to Pirates, limited to twenty on a voyage, first come first served!"

Pearl clapped vigorously, excitedly shouting, "Round Cycle, start!"

Clap clap clap!

A group of Demon Race people also had shining eyes, clapping furiously.

"..."

Sage's eye twitched, glancing back at Renedia, before he could curse her, Marika came behind Renedia, lifting her by the neck, setting her down.

"Alright, let's head out." Marika said with a smile.

Sage rolled his eyes, "Gin, assign everyone."

He had brought along three hundred Demon Race people, including Las, and then there were non-combat personnel like chefs, dancers, and doctors, adding up to about thirty.

These people certainly wouldn't all head out, some needed to stay on the ship, the number of motorbikes was also insufficient to carry them all, perfect for leaving a group behind.

The Round Cycle II had existed for a while; otherwise, for a vast place like O'hara, one couldn't rely purely on legs for travel.

Within his influence, this tool was the main vehicle, not only supplied to the Guard Corps like Sipher and Misty, but also used by stationed Pirates on subsidiary islands.

They primarily used it for patrolling around islands or navigating between archipelagos.

In Sage's territory lay an archipelago, scattered like stars, unable to count as a complete landmass, just large enough to support fifty to a hundred residents, resembling tiny villages.

As part of the sphere of influence, it certainly couldn't be abandoned, but operating ships around such islands would be wasteful; rafts or dinghies too slow, with motorbikes filling that gap perfectly.

Soon, motorbikes were allocated, including those thirty West Sea people, evenly distributed onto the bikes, and on each rode together with four members of the Demon Race.

"Let me drive, let me drive!"

Renedia clung onto a motorbike, unwilling to let go.

"You expect me to sit on the passenger seat?"

Sage picked up Renedia and threw her onto the rear seat of the bike, which was for a normal human height, absolutely impossible to plant feet on the ground.

That type of motorbike didn't require anyone to maintain balance, of course, the large body even had three passenger seats, each wheel base had six pairs, each pair having dual wheels!

But still...

Sage grasped the exceedingly high handlebar, visibly uncomfortable.

A high-handlebar motorcycle, its surface rugged like wasteland, accompanied by a crew of fierce-looking followers.

Just short of a Mohican haircut and studded armor...

Lily and Marika sat on either side on passenger seats, waiting for Sage to drive.

This vehicle only had four passengers.

Renedia pulled out a mechanical hammer from the back seat, extending it, raising it high, "Fire mouth tooth!"

Sage let out a slight sigh, twisting the handle, causing a blast of kinetic energy to shoot out from the rear, propelling the motorbike and carrying it swiftly away, the crew tailing the motorbike as they rode off, kicking up billowing dust, disappearing instantly from the landing spot.

"Uhh..."

A Demon Race member remaining behind extended his hand, watching raindrops gradually vanish from his palm, looking up at the receding stormy sky, "The rain stopped."

"Basic operation," said another subordinate, accustomed to it, "Master's characteristic is such."

"That's correct, come, let's go for a drink."

"Alright, but you have to accompany me fishing."

"Lady Lily said the waters surrounding this island are deep sea, there won't be any shallow sea fish."

"You don't trust my luck? Master might not find fish, but can't I? Since we're idle, maybe some deep sea fish will surface, huh?"
