Kanto Region, Eevee Research Institute.
"Professor, Mr. 'Dodo' has published the paper on the evolution of Eevee." Chrysa, Sakuragi's assistant, ran up to Sakuragi, who had stayed up all night, holding some documents.
Looking at Sakuragi's dark circles, she raised her head and said with a smile, "He's already informed me. This was always his topic."
"No, that's not what I mean. I mean... shouldn't we express something?" Chrysa panted, her chest heaving incessantly.
"Oh, right, use my account to express some support." Sakuragi finally reacted.
"Professor, don't you... want to take a look at it?"
"No need. I've talked with him a bit. This paper is definitely not a problem. To Trainers with Eevee, it's indeed a blessing, and he's contributing to the entire Pokemon Realm..." Sakuragi sighed, feeling that Natsuhiko's image in his mind rose even higher.
"Alright, I understand." Chrysa nodded.
"Oh, by the way." Sakuragi called her back as she was about to leave, "Regarding that Bachelor application submitted to Silver Academy, ask them to hurry up."
"Bachelor's degree? Silver Academy still has its own process to go through... Professor, you graduated from Silver Academy too..."
Showing helplessness, Sakuragi scratched his messy head and replied somewhat helplessly, "I know they're slow, but it's my alma mater, and I want them to have more talents. I'm afraid if they're slower this time, that degree really won't be issued..."
"Not be issued?"
Silver Academy's degree couldn't be issued?
This was the first time Chrysa heard of this. Silver Academy was the most famous Pokemon Academy in Kanto, and even in both the Kanto and Johto regions. Many people would give anything to get in, and its graduation certificate was even more valuable than a Master's degree from ordinary schools.
"This Mr. 'Dodo' is not a regular person. I know he's currently in Sinnoh, and I'm really afraid he'll be recruited by Celestial Crown Academy in Sinnoh." Sakuragi expressed helplessness.
Natsuhiko vaguely mentioned plans to settle in the Sinnoh Region.
Plus, with this Eevee paper and the upcoming 'Affinity' paper, Natsuhiko's identity surely can't be hidden anymore, although the name 'Dodo' could remain, it's certain that Natsuhiko's identity behind the name, 'Dodo', cannot be concealed.
The Alliance isn't foolish, they won't ignore such talent once, twice, or three times.
And with the Alliance's capabilities, if they truly want to investigate the real identity of 'Dodo', Natsuhiko surely can't hide.
Such talent, even the Alliance must pay attention to.
Sakuragi, familiar with the Alliance's procedures from past experience, understood these processes.
"Professor, do you mean this Bachelor's degree application is for Mr. 'Dodo'?" Chrysa looked stunned.
She didn't expect someone her professor valued so much, someone so talented in Pokemon research, wouldn't even have a Bachelor's degree.
But recalling Natsuhiko's age when he arrived, it seemed plausible he should still be in an undergraduate year.
Yet it was exactly because of this that Natsuhiko's terrifying talent in Pokemon research was felt.
"That's right. Anyway, push them a bit, if necessary, a bit more forcefully. I believe they will understand my intentions later." Sakuragi emphasized.
He promised Natsuhiko not to disclose his identity temporarily, thus maintaining secrecy.
But he couldn't help feeling anxious internally.
"Understood." Chrysa responded promptly.
If the counterpart is this Mr. 'Dodo', everything changes.
She, also a graduate of Silver Academy, naturally hoped for her alma mater's betterment.
"One more thing." Sakuragi called Chrysa back once more, pondered briefly, then said, "Contact my old friends, let them help exert some pressure."
Chrysa looked at him incredulously.
It was the first time she saw her teacher caring so much for someone.
After nodding, she quickly departed.
Sakuragi stood in place and thought for a while, fumbling around before pulling out a phone from who-knows-where.

Sinnoh Region, Murasaki Town.
Dr. Yamanashi, who had just gotten up and was preparing to enjoy some sweets before continuing with today's work, coincidentally saw Natsuhiko's published paper while browsing academic forums.
Since having a brief interaction with Natsuhiko and receiving much inspiration from Natsuhiko's hints last time, Dr. Yamanashi had developed quite a favorable impression of him.
Seeing the paper with such popularity, he clicked in directly.
Read Natsuhiko's paper from start to finish.
He started reading while eating, but as he continued, the cake in his hand almost melted, yet he hadn't finished it.
His eyes were full of brightness.
"Interesting, so Hilona's Eevee evolved into Glaceon? Utilizing accumulated pure Ice Energy to evolve? The concentration must reach a certain threshold..."
After reading, Dr. Yamanashi contemplated a bit and chose to leave his opinion and comment below.
Unexpectedly, what he posted was already tens of pages later.
But given his identity and reputation, even at the end, it would gradually be pushed to the top.
His appearance undoubtedly raised the paper's popularity by several levels again.
Unlike newcomers like Natsuhiko or a rising star like Sakuragi yet to hold the title of Doctor, Dr. Yamanashi was famous throughout the Pokemon Realm, an authority in Sinnoh Region.
His comments could decide the fate of a paper.
Evidently, Dr. Yamanashi wouldn't say anything negative, especially when the paper was indeed constructive and issue-free.
"Speaking of... Hilona once mentioned that Natsuhiko doesn't follow the academic path, never attended Pokemon Academy, thus he shouldn't have a degree yet..."
Natsuhiko now has the Eevee evolution result, soon to unveil the 'Affinity' result, plus he promised Natsuhiko to credit him in his work, which includes 'Egg Group' theory results.
This...
All of a sudden, three constructive results!
Some renowned Researchers might not write an influential paper in a lifetime, and yet Natsuhiko, without a degree, is already involved in three.
It's hard to imagine what further papers and perspectives he might propose.
Such a person, the Celestial Crown Academy would surely be willing to seize the 'opportunity'.
Thinking of this, Dr. Yamanashi reached for the phone from the desk.

Kanto Region, Shinshin Town.
The morning mist gently scattered, the light of dawn began to appear.
Growing older meant less sleep for Professor Oak, who maintained a habit of rising and resting early.
His morning routine involved walking halfway around his backyard after breakfast.
Then he returned to groom the Pokémon ready to be given to the newcomers.
While watering some Bulbasaurs with a Squirtle Water Bottle, the phone in his spacious coat pocket rang.
He took the phone out for a look.
Pressing the answer button, he smiled and said, "Sakuragi, calling me so early, you didn't sleep all night? Let me tell you, young folks should..."
The words halted as he froze for a second.
"Is it that 'Dodo' again? Published on Eevee's evolution type and discovered a new Pokémon, Glaceon?" Professor Oak's eyes sparkled.
New Pokémon!
Nothing excited him more than discovering new Pokémon.
This meant new observation targets for him.
"Oh—degree, Silver Academy... I don't have connections there..."
After a while.
"Okay, okay, I got it, I got it, I'll help ask around."
"Are there photos of Glaceon in the paper? Detailed descriptions, techniques, traits, all included?"
Professor Oak's focus was immediately drawn to Glaceon.
"Alright, I'll remember; no need to remind me thrice, I'm not forgetful..."
Mid-sentence, he noticed a young boy excitedly running towards him with a computer in his arms.
Professor Oak showed helplessness on his face.
While putting away the phone, he murmured, "Even if I wanted to forget, this little fellow at home wouldn't allow it..."
Then, adjusting his expression, he warmly greeted the boy.

A wave that even Natsuhiko himself was unaware of began sweeping through the Pokemon Research Community.
