Chapter 281 - Chapter 103: Divine Hall of Snow Peak

After tidying up, Natsuhiko summoned Yujira.

He nodded at it.

Understanding the gesture, Yujira wrapped the three of them in psychic power and used Instant Movement to leave the room, arriving in the first-class cabin.

Natsuhiko didn't qualify for the special class; only people with certain social status could purchase those tickets. First class was the best he could afford.

However, the facilities in first class were much better compared to second class.

It not only had two independent and spacious rooms, but each had its own bathroom and there was also a living room and a sizeable dining area.

"I'll stay in this room, and you two can stay in that room. If there's anything special, you can call for me. Otherwise, don't disturb me." Natsuhiko instructed the two.

Yujira used its psychic power to place Kage on the bed in the other room.

"If there's nothing important, don't wander around, and definitely don't go outside." This was directed at Meiyu.

Children are naturally lively and love to run around, so it's no wonder Kage had always warned her not to run off.

However, now that Kage was severely injured, Meiyu seemed to have matured quite a bit.

"I'll come tomorrow to ask you some questions about the details once you feel a bit better." Natsuhiko said to Kage, who was lying on the bed.

Kage blinked, signaling his agreement.

Natsuhiko's series of actions made him feel very professional. At one point, he even wondered if Natsuhiko had once worked as a bodyguard.

In fact, these actions were all Natsuhiko's choices and decisions after considering his own dangerous identity.

Before entering the room, Natsuhiko paused and said to Meiyu, "By the way, for safety's sake, Meiyu, you'll keep watch tonight, okay?"

Upon hearing this, both Kage and Meiyu were taken aback.

But the little girl truly seemed to have grown a lot, nodding vigorously and seriously, "Yes!"

Seeing her grandfather Kage severely injured and being helpless to do anything about it filled the little girl with immense guilt, although she didn't say it aloud.

Being able to contribute with Natsuhiko's arrangement made her feel much better, and suddenly the pressure in her heart was lifted significantly.

She quickly flashed a sweet smile to show she was fine.

"Very good." Natsuhiko also smiled, nodded, and entered the room.

"Yongji?" After entering, Yujira was a bit puzzled.

It wasn't worried about Meiyu's well-being, just doubting the reliability of leaving the night watch to a little girl.

"Of course, I wouldn't really leave it to her. Yujira, you'll have to work hard for the first half of the night using your psychic powers to keep watch, and leave the second half to Honedge."

Honedge poked its head out from Natsuhiko's shadow.

It could naturally hide in shadows, capable of using Shadow Assault.

Carrying it on his back would be a bit too conspicuous.

Natsuhiko trusted Honedge's cautious nature.

Hopefully, it wouldn't be overly alert and wake Natsuhiko at the slightest presence; that would make the night quite uncomfortable.

Hearing his instructions, Honedge silently nodded.

It was skilled at ensuring safety and could keep watch all night if needed.

He tossed out Pokeballs, releasing all the Pokémon.

Being in a first-class cabin, even if it was just one room, the space was significantly larger, providing more room for the Pokémon to move around.

It was night.

Natsuhiko didn't let the Pokémon train further but allowed them to play in the room while he sat at his computer.

After Meteor Falls, the Pokémon had grown a lot and learned a lot; he needed to arrange a new training plan for them.

Ideally, it should be completed tonight so training could officially start tomorrow.

Beedrill, Elite Level, had learned High-speed Movement from Jirachi, and had yet to acquire the Shadow Assault technique Natsuhiko arranged for it. Sword Dance, Direct Charge Drill, Smack Down, and High-speed Movement would be its main training focuses moving forward.

Yujira, Senior Level, upon evolving from Abra to Yujira, learned numerous techniques and even mastered Future Sight, similar to Absol. It gained two items: Life Treasure Pearl and Curved Spoon, making its upcoming tasks quite burdensome.

Yet, seeing other Pokémon either resting or playing while Yujira and Beedrill continued self-training, the heavy training task didn't seem to be much of an issue for it.

Togetic, Senior Level, learned Sleep and Divine Power from Jirachi. Especially Divine Power, combined with its traits and the Sharp Fang item, would play a crucial role, becoming its primary strategy and goal.

Honedge, Senior Level, nearly reaching Elite Level, lacked absolute confidence in itself and had insufficient self-awareness. It needed to quickly establish momentum with Natsuhiko to integrate into the team.

Dragon-type Pokémon Egg, species unknown, hatching date currently unknown.

No matter what Pokémon was inside the egg, its Dragon Attribute was certain. Recently, Natsuhiko had been researching special materials to nurture it.

Pokémon Eggs can be nurtured, part of a Breeder's knowledge and study.

Like with Yujira, when it was still an egg, its mother continuously nurtured it with psychic power.

Therefore, Natsuhiko needed suitable Dragon Energy materials to provide help, ensuring the baby would be better upon hatching.

Having finally organized the information, Natsuhiko stretched long and hard.

He looked at Yujira.

"How's the little girl?"

"Yongji."

Hearing Yujira's words, Natsuhiko chuckled wryly, "Fallen asleep? That's normal."

He said, then opened the door and walked out.

Looking at Meiyu, sitting on the sofa, head drooping but still supporting her head with her hand, Natsuhiko's gaze softened considerably.

"Little one, if you don't want to walk a path like mine, you need to become strong from now on…"

That being said, Natsuhiko still walked over, picked her up, and carried her to Kage's room.

Upon entering, Kage wasn't asleep, and seeing Natsuhiko bring in Meiyu, his face was full of relief.

He opened his mouth wide in a smile as he watched Natsuhiko carefully place Meiyu on the bed and cover her with a blanket.

Kage didn't speak, but his expression seemed to say—

See, I wasn't wrong, was I?

Natsuhiko couldn't help but roll his eyes, speaking with a mock irritation, "Effective sleep aids recovery."

"When you're old, you don't need as much sleep."

"Perfect timing, I'm in good shape. Ready for a chat?" Kage added.

Natsuhiko shrugged, sitting down on the room's sofa.

"Our destination this time… is the Divine Hall of Snow Peak." Kage revealed their objective.

"Divine Hall of Snow Peak?" Natsuhiko raised an eyebrow.

If he remembered correctly, the Divine Hall of Snow Peak was located in Snow Peak City in the Sinnoh Region, dedicated to the legendary Divine Beast, Regigigas, holding significant status in the Sinnoh Region.

"Yes."

"I remember Meiyu said she was looking for her mother, so…"

"That's right…" Kage's expression became slightly awkward.

Natsuhiko understood; if Meiyu's identity was like this, being a target made sense.

The top-quality Stone of Light's source became traceable.

Natsuhiko recalled that Togetic's evolved form, Togekiss, was also registered in the Sinnoh Region?

"And your identity?" Natsuhiko asked.

After a moment of contemplation, Kage replied, "I used to be… a servant at the Divine Hall of Snow Peak."

He then smiled bitterly, "But that was in the past."

"Who are the people targeting you this time?" Natsuhiko continued.

Kage, however, shook his head, "I don't know."

Did he truly not know, or was he worried Natsuhiko would back out upon learning their names?

Natsuhiko pursed his lips and said nothing.

Perhaps noticing his thoughts, Kage shifted his gaze to the disordered pile next to them.

"I really don't know." Then he continued, "In that box, there is a Stone of Light and a guidebook on how to nurture Pokemon like Togepi. You can take them."

"Aren't you afraid I'll take the stuff and just leave?" Natsuhiko chuckled.

"You won't." Kage met Natsuhiko's eyes, his words brimming with confidence.

Regardless of what he said, acquiring the items first wasn't a bad idea.

Opening the box, a pure, translucent milky-white stone lay at the center, as if it had a sun embedded within, emanating a faint golden halo.

This was the purity that a top-quality Evolution Stone should have!

Looking at the Stone of Light, Natsuhiko's eyes were drawn to its color.

Beneath the Stone of Light was a book.

It was a guidebook on nurturing Togepi, Togetic, and Togekiss.

Casually flipping through it, Natsuhiko found the descriptions and insights to be quite insightful.
