Chapter 275 - Chapter 97: Clash of the Century?

Witnessing a century-defining battle, both Natsuhiko and Yujira were deeply shaken internally.

The difference was that Natsuhiko knew such a battle existed, just not the specifics of it.

Whereas for Yujira, it was the first time genuinely witnessing the strongest presence in this world.

Not to mention comparing to them; even compared to that Alakazam protecting a group of Psychic-type Pokémon, it was far inferior.

However...

Yujira looked at the spoon in its hand, feeling the Psychic power flowing through its body, much stronger than before.

This was the Psychic energy infused into the spoon by those Pokémon and Alakazam, though over the long years, much of that power had dissipated.

Yet it still brought significant benefits to Yujira.

At the very least, it greatly solidified the foundation of Yujira, who had only recently entered Senior Level.

Moreover, beyond the Psychic energy accumulated within, the spoon itself provided Yujira with considerable help.

Its effect was similar to the item known as the Twisted Spoon among Pokémon items.

Twisted Spoon: Psychic-type techniques of the Pokémon holding this item gain increased power.

Additionally, another Life Treasure Pearl could further boost Yujira's technique power to some extent.

Since there was no limitation on the number of items, if Yujira could fully master the two held items, power or rather attack capability, would see a significant increase.

Of course, all of this relied on having a sufficiently high level of mastery over these two items.

While the Pokémon Realm does not limit the number of items a Pokémon can carry, unlike in games, carrying an item doesn't mean you gain its full ability.

It's like acquiring a sword doesn't mean you can wield it well.

A gradual process of familiarization and mastery is necessary.

Meanwhile.

Waking from the memory fragments, Natsuhiko immediately opened his computer, logging onto the Alliance's official website.

Then he pulled up maps of the different regions of the Alliance.

"That mountain was towering and vast, disappearing into the horizon, definitely not some nameless hill. Such a mountain wouldn't be destroyed by historical changes or human actions."

Natsuhiko swiftly browsed the regional satellite imagery.

"The Hoenn Region can be ruled out. The tallest and largest mountain there is Chimney Mountain. Though the environment we were in was just a scorched land, it clearly wasn't caused by a volcanic eruption; the sky was bright and clear, with no volcanic ash, so it's definitely not Chimney Mountain."

"Unova Region and Kalos Region can also be ruled out, as these regions have mountains but lack the required scale and height."

"So, it's either the Silver Mountain Range located between the Kanto and Johto Regions or the Celestial Crown Mountain in the Sinnoh Region, which nearly spans the entire Unova Continent. These two mountains are the most likely candidates."

Natsuhiko fell into deep thought.

All he was doing now was for that one fragment, the shattered piece of an Arceus Stone Plate he witnessed dropping near him.

Unfortunately, he was merely a bystander reviewing memories, unable to take any action.

But he memorized the approximate location and position.

At that time, the stone fragment, moving with incredible speed and emitting dense energy, quickly embedded itself into the mountain upon contact.

"If, if after these thousands of years, it hasn't been discovered by anyone..."

There's a chance!

This might be the greatest function of this spoon.

That night.

Natsuhiko studied the map for a long time.

...

...

The next day.

He washed up simply.

After a full night's sleep, he shook off the exhaustion from previous days spent in Meteor Falls.

Feeling energized, he planned to first tackle Togetic's Energy Block issue to see if he could resolve it.

The Poke Fairy Energy Block was Natsuhiko's first advanced Energy Block developed with Togepi's help, currently the only one in the Pokemon Realm tailored to Fairy-type Pokémon.

Thanks to this Energy Block, Togetic accumulated a significant amount of Fairy Energy, enabling it to use the Fairy-type move "Fairy Wind."

If Natsuhiko were to release this Energy Block to the public now, allowing it to be consumed by Pokémon that should be Fairy types, it could cause a massive stir throughout the Pokemon Realm.

However.

Releasing it now offered no substantial benefits for Natsuhiko.

Aside from backstabbing certain people.

But one of the main ingredients for making the Poke Fairy Energy Block, Luomai Fruit, while rare, is very cheap in price.

Taking advantage of the fact that Fairy types are still unknown, Natsuhiko swept up all the Luomai Fruit in Kanaz City's black market at extremely low prices, even acquiring the seeds.

Low prices now; once Fairy types emerge, their prices will skyrocket.

Stock up in advance.

Additionally, Natsuhiko decided to stop at nothing when visiting any black market in whatever city, whenever in any region, ensuring no Luomai Fruit is left behind, including seeds and saplings.

With spatial storage devices, there's no worry about having nowhere to place them, nor concern about spoilage.

Thus.

With everything prepared, under the watchful eyes of his Pokémon, Natsuhiko prepared to make Energy Blocks.

Due to Togetic gaining a Flying Type attribute, he mixed in some Khoury Berry to enhance Flying Type energy.

Yet adding one more ingredient to an already stable Energy Block isn't as simple as just adding it. The original juice ratios from the Tree Fruit had to be adjusted, as well as the special ingredients, to unleash the full effects of all the Tree Fruits.

This is a challenging and complex process.

Even with continuously analyzing and dissecting the juice ratios of various Tree Fruits and the roles and principles of the additional ingredients after creating this Energy Block, Natsuhiko kept encountering failures repeatedly at first.

Fortunately, the groundwork was there, just needing constant refinement.

Eventually, Natsuhiko successfully completed the crafting of this Energy Block by sunset.

Even though it remained an advanced Energy Block, its effect, function, and formula were superior to before.

It might not match up to Special Level Energy Blocks but isn't far behind the least effective of them.

This was like achieving a modest milestone in Natsuhiko's pursuit of Energy Block crafting.

Anyway, Togetic enjoyed it a great deal.

Though, to be fair, it finds joy in eating almost anything.

"Phew—"

Just when he considered taking a short break.

His phone suddenly rang.

Looking at it, he found it was Flint.

He casually answered.

"Natsuhiko, where are you now? Send me your location, and I'll send someone to pick you up. I've been too busy lately, really sorry."

From the other end of the line came Flint's apologetic voice.

He had promised to show Natsuhiko around Hoenn, only to be delayed by work overload.

"I'm in Kanaz City, at your family's property, XXX Inn."

"Understood, I'll be there in no more than fifteen minutes."

The call ended.

Flint's efficiency was indeed impressive.

However, just as he put down the phone, it rang again.

"Hmm?"

Natsuhiko noticed this time it wasn't Flint, but... Lance.

"Hi, Natsuhiko, where are you? The mission's over, and I've just arrived in Kanaz City."

Opening his mouth slightly, Natsuhiko's expression took on a peculiar look.

It seems...

There was a chance to witness a Pokémon battle between these two future Champions in their youth?

"Togetic, get the camera ready."

Just posting it on the Alliance's official website, the viewership alone would be enough to earn a fortune!
