Chapter 595 - Chapter 324: Strengthening the Ninja Sect

The Fire Dragon Dance is a Fire Release Ninjutsu improved and developed by Mokgetsu based on the Fire Dragon Flame Bomb, and can be regarded as a Super Fire Dragon Flame Bomb.

The range, power, and flexibility of the Fire Release are comprehensively enhanced. Aside from the high Chakra consumption and the high usage requirements, it has almost no other flaws.

The high-temperature flames spewed by Mokgetsu quickly devoured the combined Ninjutsu used by Kakuzu.

Feeling the heat wave coming at him, Kakuzu's pupils quaked.

He had thought that the Fire Release Ninjutsu Mokgetsu used before was already strong enough, but he hadn't realized that Mokgetsu had held back and hadn't used his full power.

Kakuzu immediately wanted to retreat with his Earth Grudge Fear hearts, but the flames were too fast, and before the hearts could return to Kakuzu's body, they turned to black ash under Mokgetsu's flames.

Covering his chest in pain, Kakuzu had just lost two lives in one go.

But Mokgetsu's Fire Dragon Dance was not yet over.

Under Mokgetsu's control, the blazing sea of fire split into six fire dragons, encircling Kakuzu and two of his remaining hearts from different directions.

Even though Kakuzu decisively chose to retrieve all of his hearts at the onset, facing such an aggressive assault, only the Lightning Attribute heart successfully returned to his body, while the Water Attribute heart was destroyed by the fire dragons.

Kakuzu's main body also suffered from the fire dragon attack, the Earth Attribute heart unable to withstand such a terrifying assault and being burned to pieces.

In merely an instant, Kakuzu, who had initially five lives, was reduced to just one, completely reversing the battle situation.

"Amazing, no wonder Uncle Sosuke is so formidable!" Yahiko exclaimed in surprise.

Even from a certain distance from the flames, Yahiko could feel the terrifying temperature. This was the most powerful Fire Release Ninjutsu he had ever seen.

"Is Teacher Sosuke really this strong?" The ninja who knew Kakuzu was shocked.

Kakuzu could definitely be called a legendary ninja in the black market, and such a formidable individual was nearly defeated in an instant by Mokgetsu's Fire Release, which left him deeply shaken.

He even thought Mokgetsu's capabilities surpassed Hanzo, for he believed Hanzo wouldn't be able to use a single Water Release to defeat Kakuzu.

"Can Hanzo really stand alongside such a Teacher Sosuke?" Ike Masaya was convinced he had underestimated Mokgetsu's strength.

The depth of his imagination couldn't keep up with Mokgetsu's capabilities.

In his impression, if a ninja were to be deemed strong, it surely would be Hanzo.

But from this moment onwards, Ike Masaya declared a newcomer in the choices for the strongest.

The strength Mokgetsu displayed was overwhelmingly powerful, so much so that some ninja even felt a bit unreal.

They pinched their arms, the slight pain confirming that this wasn't a dream, but reality.

It wasn't that their mental endurance was weak, but this reality was so wonderful it felt like a dream.

They gained the meticulous guidance of such a mighty figure as Mokgetsu without having to pay anything, just by following him.

Although, from Mokgetsu's perspective, the ninja following him had all made the decision while braving risks, for these wandering ninja, danger was a common occurrence, and if they wanted to advance, danger was indispensable.

Thus, in their view, traveling around the Land of Rain with Mokgetsu was like a fantastical journey, where they not only learned skills but also lived more like a ninja, fulfilling both their life and spirit.

Looking at the fallen Kakuzu, Mokgetsu slowly walked to his side.

Though Kakuzu lay on the ground motionless, Mokgetsu knew he wasn't dead, because Kakuzu still had one last heart.

For those unfamiliar with Earth Grudge Fear's information, seeing Kakuzu bear such injuries, they would certainly believe he had already perished.

But Mokgetsu was different; he truly held the informational advantage with knowledge and transformation, as well as knowing the original plot.

"Still planning to keep pretending to be dead?" Mokgetsu said faintly as he approached Kakuzu.

Feigning death on the ground, Kakuzu's heart tightened instantly, but he still did not move, thinking Mokgetsu might be bluffing.

Because anyone who had seen him use Earth Grudge Fear is usually dead, there was no reason for Mokgetsu to know his information.

"Think I'm bluffing? What can you do with just one heart left?" Mokgetsu continued.

Cold sweat began to dot Kakuzu's forehead, feeling as though Mokgetsu could see through him completely; he could no longer maintain his composure and looked at Mokgetsu with confusion.

Kakuzu was sure he had never met Mokgetsu, much less fought him, so he couldn't understand why Mokgetsu knew his information.

"How do you know my information?" Kakuzu asked directly, standing up and coldly looking at Mokgetsu when he was seen through.

At this point, Kakuzu was no longer panicking; after all, the worst possible outcome was merely death.

Did Kakuzu want to die? Of course not, he hadn't made enough money yet.

But was Kakuzu afraid of death? Surely not. If he were afraid, he wouldn't have tried to assassinate Senju Hashirama.

In Kakuzu's eyes, dying in battle as a ninja wasn't that bad of an outcome; it was certainly better than being betrayed by comrades or dying in a cell.

"He still isn't dead." Other ninja were astonished by Kakuzu's vitality.

The Fire Release Ninjutsu Mokgetsu used turned much of the area into scorched earth; the fact that Kakuzu could stand after enduring such a horrific attack seemed absurdly strong in terms of vitality.

"This is ancient wisdom." Mokgetsu showed a mystic smile.

Whether it's the plot, identification, or transformation, it all couldn't be explained, so the only option was to act mysteriously.

"Is this the so-called Ninja Sect inheritance?" Kakuzu continued to ask.
