The rapidly changing situation on the field left the audience in awe.
When Obito used such a powerful Fire Release, they thought he was going to win. However, Kakashi unexpectedly broke through the blockade of the Fire Dragon Flame Bomb and completed a counter-kill in an instant.
Even Sarutobi Hiruzen was quite surprised, not expecting Kakashi to unleash such immense power at the last moment, breaking through the formidable Fire Dragon Flame Bomb with such fierce momentum.
"My dear friend, I feel your enthusiasm to fight with me!"
Seeing Kakashi's Lightning Flash break through the sea of fire to defeat Obito, Might Guy clenched his fists and vowed in his heart to give 120% of his strength in a battle with Kakashi to respond to Kakashi's fervor.
"These two guys are unexpectedly strong." Asuma sighed.
After personally fighting Obito once and then watching Obito and Kakashi's battle, Asuma deeply felt that the gap between him and them had widened even more than before.
He had once undergone special training with Obito. Back then, while Obito was stronger than him, the difference was limited. But now, Asuma felt that if Obito had unleashed this level of Fire Dragon Flame Bomb from the start, he wouldn't stand a chance.
"Their strength has grown so much!" Shisui's expression changed from calm to shocked after watching the fight.
Though they often trained together, it was impossible to be this desperate during trainings, and Shisui was taken aback by their intense performance.
Shisui's expression turned a bit sour because he realized that he had little chance of victory against either Kakashi or Obito now. He was, after all, Mokgetsu's first disciple and the only one in the team to maintain an unbeaten record, previously the undisputed strongest disciple.
Shisui felt an unprecedented sense of urgency, eager to return to cultivation immediately.
"Perhaps they really can become the new Sannin," Jiraiya thought to himself.
He had high hopes for Mokgetsu's three disciples on the battlefield before, and their current performance justified Jiraiya's foresight.
Not only Kakashi and Might Guy, who made it to the finals, even Obito, who was defeated by Kakashi, exhibited exceptional strength.
"I hope they're all okay." Nohara Rin watched the two lying on the ground with a worried expression.
It was evident that both had fought to their limits, with both Kakashi and Obito injured and exhausted.
"Lady Tsunade, can you help treat Kakashi and the others? Otherwise, they won't be able to proceed with the next exam." Mokgetsu asked Tsunade, who was beside him.
Konoha had provided ample rest time for the final match, but treatment time was an issue, and Tsunade was quite free anyway.
"Treatment is not a problem, but if I ask for something next time, you can't refuse. After all, my consultation fee is quite high." Tsunade nodded with her arms crossed.
Tsunade's meaning was simple, freebies were prohibited, and they owed her a favor.
"As long as it's within my power, Lady Tsunade, feel free to command," Mokgetsu agreed readily.
What could Tsunade possibly ask for? At most, something delicious, so Mokgetsu agreed quite readily.
If it were someone ambitious like Danzo or Orochimaru, Mokgetsu would have to think about it.
Of course, Mokgetsu was not inflexible; he had a flexible bottom line, and relying on verbal agreements to make him do risky work was impossible.
There was a dragon who exemplified this well - promising when needed, and when not needed, as a noble dragon, it didn't need to keep promises.
Although Tsunade was in her laid-back phase, she would still fulfill her promises well. After Mokgetsu finished speaking, she went directly to Konoha Hospital to personally treat Obito and Kakashi.
With Tsunade's intervention, Kakashi and Obito quickly recovered consciousness.
"Damn, if I had held on for a few more seconds, maybe I would've been the winner," Obito said wistfully, noticing the Kakashi on the hospital bed next to him.
It was clear that Kakashi was also significantly injured in the recent battle, otherwise he wouldn't be in the hospital with him.
"But the fact is, I'm the victor, and that's unchangeable," Kakashi said calmly.
"You're acting all high and mighty after one victory, as if I've never beaten you," Obito complained, detecting Kakashi's smug aura.
"You've only beaten me once," Kakashi emphasized loudly.
Although now Obito could fight him back and forth, a year ago, Kakashi could easily defeat Obito without effort.
Obito was left speechless because every word from Kakashi was true. He regretted not fighting Kakashi more when he was still stronger; otherwise, Kakashi wouldn't be this arrogant now.
"Really, even at this point, you're not resting properly,"
Nohara Rin's voice suddenly came through, and Obito quickly looked towards the hospital room door, seeing her standing there, with Mokgetsu right behind her.
"Are you feeling better?" Mokgetsu asked with a concerned look.
"Yeah, I feel like I can fight Kakashi again without any problem," Obito replied, patting his chest.
"There's no particular problem with my body, just that my energy hasn't fully recovered yet," Kakashi answered honestly.
"That's fine. Considering your injuries, the rest time has been extended a bit, so it won't affect the fight," Mokgetsu reassured with a smile.
Kakashi nodded. He certainly didn't want to lose to Might Guy because of instability in his condition.
When it was close to the start of the finals, Kakashi had recovered to his peak state and, along with Mokgetsu and the others, returned to the Chunin Examination hall, entering the resting room to wait for the battle to officially begin.
