"Special training for students who are about to graduate and those who perform excellently..."
Sarutobi Hiruzen thought for a moment and said, "Mokgetsu, I think you might be underestimating your own abilities. How about this: in addition to your special training plan, you also promote it to the Genin who graduated this year. If they're interested, they can join your training."
After speaking, Sarutobi Hiruzen smiled and asked Mokgetsu, "Mokgetsu, what do you think?"
"Since the Third Hokage acknowledges my abilities, I'll do my best to give it a try," Mokgetsu said respectfully.
Mokgetsu didn't mind having more students; he wished he could teach hundreds of students every day.
According to Mokgetsu's reasoning, the number of students attending a lecture would also affect the class rewards, which is why he receives rewards when teaching at the Ninja Academy.
But when he taught Obito and the others, the numbers didn't meet the standards, so there were no class rewards.
If he gathered all the fourth-grade students, along with other outstanding students from different classes and some graduated Genin, amassing about three hundred people shouldn't be a problem.
Mokgetsu wanted to know if teaching over two hundred people at once would yield better rewards.
"Mokgetsu, if you handle this special training well and improve the abilities of the students and Genin, you won't have to wait until the year is over. Once the training concludes, you can be promoted to Special Jonin," Sarutobi Hiruzen said cheerfully.
If Mokgetsu could consistently replicate the teaching results of Class 1, not to mention Special Jonin, even Sarutobi Hiruzen as the head of the teachers could be replaced by Mokgetsu.
But if it came to that, he'd have to have a good chat with his old friend Danzo about Mokgetsu's identity.
Teachers at the Ninja Academy can be members of the Root, but the head of the teachers can't be a member of the Root.
"I'll notify the Ninja Academy to cooperate with your work. This matter will be led by you," Sarutobi Hiruzen said.
Mokgetsu expressed his gratitude and then headed to the backyard to take Asuma for this weekend's cultivation.
"Teacher Mokgetsu, are you really organizing special training?" Asuma asked curiously.
He had just happened to overhear the conversation between the two.
"Since the Third Hokage trusts me so much, I naturally can't let him down," Mokgetsu said with a smile.
"I think the old man just wants to make you work hard; teaching a whole grade of students, plus some graduated Genin, is going to be exhausting," Asuma said, defending Mokgetsu.
"And he didn't even mention how the payment would be calculated during the special training. If it's the same as usual, you'll be losing out, Teacher Mokgetsu."
Hearing Asuma's words, Mokgetsu thought that if Asuma were his student, the trust level would probably be quite high, as he had already started speaking up for Mokgetsu.
"I'm not teaching for the money; I just hope the students can become better," Mokgetsu replied with a smile.
If other teachers said this, Asuma would dismiss it as pretentious.
But when Mokgetsu said it, Asuma felt it was only natural.
If it was just for money, Mokgetsu could easily slack off with him; there's no need to go to such lengths to train him.
"Since you're really organizing the special training, I'll definitely bring my teammates along to learn," Asuma said, indicating he would bring his teammates to support Mokgetsu. He's a recently graduated Genin himself.
Honestly speaking, Asuma felt that while Mokgetsu might not be as strong as a Jonin, his teaching ability was definitely much better than his Jonin teacher's.
Every time he finished weekend cultivation with Mokgetsu, he felt he had gained a lot.
Spending a month learning from Mokgetsu would surely yield greater benefits than their usual training.
......
"Kakashi, let's have a youthful and passionate match!"
"I get it, but next time, can you not come in while I'm in the bath!" said Kakashi, lying in the bathtub and looking at the suddenly appearing Might Guy with a speechless expression.
He was really at a loss as to why Might Guy always appeared at such awkward times.
"Because I was training during the day, so I came over at this time," Might Guy explained.
"So could you please leave first?" Kakashi asked, feeling a headache as he looked at Might Guy, who didn't move from where he stood.
Out of all his few friends, only Nohara Rin seemed normal.
Might Guy finally left, but turned around curiously at the door, causing Kakashi to throw a bottle at him in exasperation.
"Next time, I'll definitely set traps at the bathroom door!" Kakashi warned Might Guy after finishing his bath.
Might Guy ignored Kakashi's words, clenched his fists, and shouted with enthusiasm, "Kakashi, let's have an all-out thrilling battle again."
"This time my strength isn't the same as before. If you're careless, you might lose."
"To the yard, then. I hope your strength matches your words," Kakashi said calmly.
"This time, I got first in the grade at the Ninja Academy, don't underestimate me," Might Guy laughed, giving a thumbs-up.
"Isn't that something anyone who participates can get first place in?" said Kakashi, unfazed, knowing he had never lost in the Ninja Academy exams.
The two walked to the yard, exchanged glances, nodded, and the battle began.
"Leaf Great Whirlwind!"
Might Guy, knowing Kakashi's strength, immediately used the newly learned Chakra burst technique to quickly charge at Kakashi and kicked a Tornado Kick.
Although he hadn't fully mastered Soru, he could still use its technique to speed up.
"Hmm? This speed."
Kakashi hadn't expected Might Guy to show such speed, so he had no time to dodge and blocked Might Guy's kick with his arm, retreating a few steps.
Might Guy, gaining the advantage, didn't relent and rushed up again, trying to apply extreme offensive pressure to prevent Kakashi from using Ninjutsu.
But Kakashi wasn't Obito, and Might Guy was astonished to find that he didn't gain an advantage in Taijutsu exchanges, and was gradually being pushed back.
"Leaf Whirlwind!"
Kakashi, gradually turning the tables, kicked out a Tornado Kick, sending Might Guy flying, then used the Instant Body Jutsu to place a Kunai at Might Guy's neck.
"Kakashi, your Leaf Whirlwind seems a bit off," Might Guy pointed out honestly.
"Winning the fight is all that matters," Kakashi said, putting away the Kunai.
Just by watching Guy a few times, there's no way he could perfectly replicate it.
Kakashi just wanted to get back at Might Guy for barging into the bathroom, hoping to frustrate him a bit.
But he found Might Guy showed no reaction to being defeated in his specialty, Taijutsu.
"As expected of my rival, you're really strong," Might Guy said proudly.
In this fight, Kakashi barely used any Ninjutsu to defeat him.
Seeing Might Guy's expression, Kakashi was momentarily speechless. Anyone watching would think Might Guy had won.
"Next time when I challenge you, I'll be even stronger!" Having once again felt the gap between them, Might Guy was already fired up. He greeted Kakashi and then ran off to train.
"Guy's growth in strength has been really fast lately..." Kakashi thought as he watched Might Guy's departing figure.
Might Guy's performance today surprised him a bit. That initial kick caught him off guard, which wasn't something that would have happened before.
