Chapter 611 - Chapter 579: Second Bloom

The Clash of the Three Gods!

The Eraser's full power erupted from its body, engulfing everything it touched like a world-ending tsunami.

The rolling superconductor wave released from Osiris's mouth briefly illuminated the entire sky, piercing the dark clouds like a shining sword, only to collide with the heavy fist swung by The Wicked Dreadroot.

The powers of the two Evil Gods and Osiris clashed continuously—had it been a simple contest of spirit power, the Sky Dragon in Youyu's hands, weaker than its original, could not have possibly withstood the combined assault of the two Evil Gods. But bound by the rules of the duel, its original attack power was an impressive twelve thousand, and even after being weakened by the Dreadroot, it still had a formidable six thousand.

Thus, the clash between the Sky Dragon and The Wicked Dreadroot even held a slight advantage.

Unfortunately, no matter how high its attack power is, it couldn't resist The Wicked Eraser's Power of Destruction. However, this power was indiscriminate, and even its ally, The Wicked Dreadroot, could not escape it.

The entire area was collapsing, thunder continually crashing down to the earth, shattering rocks into countless pieces. The ground cracked, the space broke apart, and rocks, large and small, rained down like drops.

The soldiers of the Egyptian Army lay flat on the ground, not daring to lift their heads. To them, this earth-shattering momentum seemed like the end of the world. Each of them prayed thousands and thousands of times in their hearts to the gods they knew, praying for Osiris, who was fighting bravely, and even calling out to that mysterious person named You, who had summoned Osiris.

According to the normal duel process, this series of effect resolutions should sweep away everything, including the Sky Dragon and the Dreadroot, with the power of the Eraser. The field would be cleared, but the stage remained in Youyu's turn, and the duel continued, with both sides still having remaining Life Points and cards in hand, the outcome unclear.

But the result was not as expected.

Darkness and golden light intertwined explosively, the light screen burning the retinas. Youyu raised his arm to shield his face, momentarily feeling as if he couldn't sense his body weight when caught in the turbulent current.

In the midst of it all, he seemed to glimpse an object for a brief moment... an hourglass.

Golden, dazzling grains of sand flowed slowly through the center of the crystal-clear hourglass, like time slipping slowly away.

Then suddenly, the hourglass turned over, and time was overturned.

Youyu saw everything before him disperse. The roaring Sky Dragon, the bellowing Evil Gods, the collapsing earth, and tearing sky, whether dark or light, were indiscriminately swept into the hourglass of time, overturned, and restarted.

Moments later, the entire shattered valley was restored. The Evil God and Bakura disappeared from before him—as did the noisy sand sculptures and that accompanying Egyptian Army.

Youyu found himself alone back in the valley. He was lying in wait, ready for Bakura to deliver himself into his hands.

The time was fifteen minutes earlier.

Time had been reversed.

Youyu felt a bit surprised. He had anticipated this "Time Reversal" move, but he still found it unexpected.

In many RPG games, players often have some initial equipment from character creation. As explained in the original animation, Bakura initially had such a god-level item, the "Hourglass of Time."

With only one chance, he could reverse time, retracing a brief period to choose a future more favorable to himself.

In the animation, with Dark Yugi already having summoned "The Winged Dragon of Ra" to roast Bakura, the Darkness Game should have ended directly. No one expected Bakura to suddenly play this time-reversal tactic, rewriting an unfavorable future for himself, and even snatching Yugi's Millennium Pendant.

Youyu of course knew long ago that Bakura had such an item, but the tool was overwhelmingly powerful, akin to a second life; therefore, besides pushing Bakura into a corner to make him use it, there wasn't much else that could be done.

According to the original plan, Youyu intended to use this opportunity to force Bakura to hand over this Divine Artifact, which meant stripping Bakura of his second life.

But what he couldn't have imagined was that before the game was even finished, Bakura had surrendered the artifact.

Youyu felt a bit stunned.

Logically, such a second-life item shouldn't be used until one is absolutely about to die, or even after one's Life Points drop to zero, right?

Yet the match wasn't even over, the outcome still unpredictable, and Bakura had used up the precious time reversal chance to run away.

Using his ultimate move to escape, seriously?

... Thinking this way, Youyu had noticed for a while that during this duel Bakura looked at him with strange eyes.

It seemed... somewhat afraid?

How odd. Who was Bakura? He was the invincible Great Evil God Sok!

On the street of the Egyptian Underworld, ask around and find out who's boss.

This supervillain, fearless of the heavens and gods, treating the Egyptian Gods and Evil Gods as mere kittens and puppies, could he also be timid?

"Could it be that the one who hammered eighty without bargaining the sand sculpture made up some strange story about me?" Youyu thought.

If it were true, that sand sculpture's storytelling skills would be incredibly strong!

Could it really fool even the Great Evil God?

However, if the one who hammered eighty without bargaining knew about Youyu's suspicion, they might feel wronged because this Great Evil God wasn't deceived by him. What exactly was running through the Evil God's mind even he couldn't tell...

The NPCs in the Memory World couldn't detect any abnormalities, but all players involved in this game—including Dark Yugi, Yugi himself, and his companions as well as other sand sculpture players—all quickly became aware of the time anomaly.

This was especially abrupt for Dark Yugi.

He had already summoned "The Winged Dragon of Ra" to instantly kill the six-year-old and was quickly leading the main force in the opposite direction to pursue Bakura.

Then, suddenly, the world spun, chaos ensued. Dark Yugi felt a moment of disorientation; when he came to, he was no longer on horseback but teleported back to the valley fifteen minutes earlier.

In front of him... was the same bewildered six-year-old Marik.

Dark Marik's face was filled with confusion, looking down at his hands: "What's happening? I remember being hit by the Winged Dragon's 'Divine Power Flame Cannon'..."

Though he couldn't recall what happened afterward, he clearly remembered the moment the Winged Dragon fired at him, even vividly recalling the pain of his body being torn apart and his soul being annihilated.

Little Marik was bewildered.

Could it be an illusion? Wasn't I dead?

Then, he lifted his head in confusion and once more saw Yugi... along with the radiant "Winged Dragon of Ra" above him.

"This is... time reversal!?"

Realizing he was in the King's Memory RPG game world, Yugi quickly guessed the reason.

Just as Bakura said, this was the "Ultimate Darkness Game," transcending any common understanding or limitation.

Was it an influence from a time-manipulating game artifact?

Did Bakura use it?

Could it put his companions in danger?

Thinking of this, Dark Yugi felt anxious, having no time to deal with the six-year-old before him: "Attack of the Winged Dragon! Divine Power Flame Cannon!"

The six-year-old, once again mosaiced by the Solar God: "@%&#"

I mean... can you believe it's possible to be burnt by the Solar God twice in a single Darkness Game!?
