Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Rebirth Through Fire

Darkness wasn't rest. It clawed, it screamed, it remembered.

Ares Drakon didn't wake. He was dragged back into life. Cold air burned his lungs. His heart slammed inside a body that didn't feel like his.

For a few seconds, everything was noise—memories, pain, light, static. Then focus returned.

His name was still Ares.

But the world he knew? Gone. No dorm rooms. No broken earbuds. No late nights watching The 100.

Now he was strapped into a shaking metal coffin. The air stank of sweat and fear. Alarms blared. Teenagers shouted.

The dropship was falling.

And he knew exactly what that meant.

The 100.

The Ark.

Earth.

This was where it all began.

Ares clenched his jaw, forcing his mind to steady. He wasn't dreaming. He wasn't hallucinating. Somehow, he had been thrown into The 100.

Not as a viewer. As a player.

His new body felt different. Taller. Heavier. Stronger. Muscles coiled with unfamiliar strength. Then a heat flickered behind his eyes.

Ares stared at the screen. Not just reincarnation. A system. Power.

He remembered the show—the chaos, the blood, the betrayals. He knew who would live. Who would die. When it would all fall apart.

This time, he wouldn't be a spectator.

This time, he would take control.

The ship jolted. Screams erupted. Someone cried. Someone prayed.

Ares didn't move. He watched. Calculated.

Clarke sat a few rows ahead, eyes shut tight, forcing calm. Octavia looked feral, fighting panic. Bellamy stood near the front, already trying to lead.

Same people. Same story.

Different outcome.

"Hey!" a voice yelled. "You deaf, or just too stupid to care we're about to die?!"

Ares turned his head slowly.

Their eyes met. The kid froze. His voice died instantly.

Ares said nothing. He didn't need to.

Charm: 13. Enough said.

The ship shook harder. Flames lit the windows. Re-entry.

Ares gripped the harness. Below them waited Earth. A planet untouched for a century. A graveyard for the weak.

He wasn't weak.

While others screamed, Ares closed his eyes and smiled.

Let them panic.

Let them burn.

I'm coming.
