Seeing Naoki walking towards it, Glaceon turned its head, "Gla?"
"Do you have a moment? I want to ask you to help me make something." Naoki asked with a smile, then explained his idea to it.
After listening, Glaceon pondered for a moment, then its eyes lit up, it nodded gently, responding with, "Gla!"
"Great, shall we give it a try then?" Naoki asked.
Glaceon nodded.
So, Naoki and Glaceon went to a wide-open grassy field.
Naoki stood behind Glaceon and gave it instructions, "First, use Ice Beam to create an ice wall!"
"Gla!"
Glaceon opened its mouth and released a beam of frosty light.
Rich Ice Type Energy swept across the snowy ground, and where it passed, an ice-blue wall immediately appeared.
"Great, just like that!" Seeing that the method worked, Naoki was delighted and continued, "Do it again, connect several ice walls together!"
"Gla!"
This was very easy for Glaceon, following Naoki's instructions, it continuously used Ice Beam to create wall after wall of ice over the snow.
The outermost four ice walls formed a huge rectangular area together.
Inside the area, there were countless small ice walls of varying lengths, together forming a huge ice maze playground.
The maze had two exits, among them were numerous crisscrossing paths, but there was only one true path that could lead to the exit.
When the maze was completed, other Pokémon were also drawn by the scene, staring in shock at the structure that rose from the ground.
Naoki also looked up at the scene, these ice walls were taller than him, and a single Glaceon could achieve this.
It seemed that summer's cream ice was not eaten in vain!
"Great job!"
Naoki patted Glaceon's head, then called the other Pokémon to introduce the rules of hide and seek to them.
"... Hide and seek is divided into two sides, one side is responsible for hiding, and the other side needs to find the hidden Pokémon."
"If all the hiding Pokémon are found, then the searching side wins, and the first Pokémon to be found must be the seeker in the next round."
"Do you understand?"
The Pokémon were listening in a semi-understanding way, but soon, the clever Pawmo's eyes lit up, "Paw!"
It got it!
Pawmo flew up and spoke to the other Pokémon, "Paw!" It wanted to be the seeker in the first round!
Naoki: "… Unfortunately, during the game, you can't use flying abilities or moves."
Upon hearing this, Pawmo immediately showed a shocked expression.
In that case, how could it find the other Pokémon?!
"Use your eyes," Naoki said.
Pawmo pondered and then suddenly understood.
It got it!
Seeing no objections from the other Pokémon, Naoki said, "Then, you can start now, go hide in the maze! Pawmo will start looking for you after counting to fifty, be careful not to be found!"
Upon hearing this, the Alcremie and Cyclizar among other Pokémon hurriedly ran into the ice maze, each looking for a place to hide.
Even Koraidon was attracted by the game and dashed into the ice maze.
Pawmo closed its eyes and began counting as Naoki instructed.
"Paw!" (1!)
"Paw!" (2!)
…
"Paw!" (35!)
"Paw!" (36!)
Pawmo's counting voice was so loud that even the Pokémon in the maze could hear it.
As the time approached, Pokémon in the maze felt an intense sense of urgency.
Inside the maze, Alcremie frantically looked around, searching for something to hide behind.
Suddenly, it noticed the snow on the ground, and its eyes lit up.
Then, it dived into the snow, hiding its body, not noticing the clear trail of small footprints behind it.
…
In a dead-end corner of the maze.
Cyclizar nervously stared at the wall in front, then ran to a corner and curled up facing the wall, trying to blend in with the wall, thinking Pawmo wouldn't see it.
…
"Paw!" (50!)
Time was up, Pawmo eagerly stepped into the maze.
Pawmo is a very clever Pokémon, quickly noticing footprints in the snow.
"Paw!" (I've found you!) Pawmo intentionally said.
It targeted a set of footprints, and followed them all the way forward, finally stopping where the footprints continued into a dead end.
And in the snow ahead, there was an unidentifiable bulge.
"Paw…" Pawmo carefully moved forward, and then smacked the bulging snow pile.
The next second, a startled scream came from beneath the snow.
"Maaa!"

"Looks like Alcremie was the first Pokémon found by Pawmo."
Outside the maze, hearing Alcremie's voice, Naoki couldn't help stretching.
Let the Pokémon play by themselves here, while he turned to check the honey preparation by the Combee in the Glass Greenhouse.
"Arven, do you want to come along?" Naoki asked.
Arven shook his head, "No, Mr. Naoki, I want to stay here with Mabosstiff."
"Okay." Naoki nodded, "If you feel cold, head back to the living room, the fireplace is lit, and you'll warm up quickly."
"Got it!" Arven said gratefully.
Naoki chuckled, then turned to the Glass Greenhouse.
Calyrex wasn't here, Naoki guessed he might be familiarizing himself with the nearby pasture areas.
He didn't think much of it, and after greeting Butterfree, went to the Combee hive.
The stored amount of Honey in the hive wasn't much, and the Combees didn't look very spirited.
Naoki guessed they might be akin to some Pokémon requiring hibernation, becoming less active during this season.
For Combee-like Pokémon, this was quite normal.
Seeing this, Naoki returned to the house, took some honey prepared in advance to help the Combee through winter, and placed it in the hive as reserve food.
After doing all this, Calyrex returned.
He appeared directly in the Glass Greenhouse, and upon seeing Naoki, Calyrex seriously inquired:
"I sensed an aura of deathly silence from the mountains, devoid of life. What is the situation there?"
Naoki immediately realized what Calyrex was referring to, he thought for a moment and replied:
"Before you arrived, there was a wildfire on the back mountain, which burned everything on the mountain, and many Pokémon lost their lives there."
"The Pokémon living in the Berry Garden are those who survived the wildfire, I took them in, promising to help them plant grass, flowers, and trees on the back mountain when spring arrives."
"I see," murmured Calyrex.
Upon hearing about the loss of many Pokémon lives, the kingly Pokémon with a heart full of love felt a wave of sorrow.
He let out a mournful sigh, "If only I could have come sooner, I could have used my power to relocate them to safety."
"Alas!" sighed Naoki, "What we can do now is help the surviving Pokémon rebuild their homes."
Calyrex closed his eyes to mourn for the Pokémon who had passed away, then reopened them moments later.
"In that case, I shall come to help as well!"
"Yes." Naoki nodded, planning the purchase of seedlings and grass seeds in his mind.
Besides the Pokémon on the farm, some who survived the wildfire were rescued by the Paldea League and live in a shelter in town.
By then, the Paldea League will also send people to participate in the activities of rebuilding the back mountain, in efforts to help the forest recover as much as possible.
