Seraphina
When the door opened, I was afraid that my uncle had come back to try and hurt me again but when I saw Kael's form, I felt less pensive. But I was still scared, and I was still shaking.
"Seraphina," he said to me, a little closer this time. His tone was low. "It's me, Kael. What happened to you?"
He hesitated for a long while, then slowly walked closer until he was a few feet away.
"Who did this to you?" he asked, he tried to hide it but I could hear his voice trembling with anger.
I couldn't answer. I opened my mouth to answer him but the words refused to come out. My eyes filled with tears again, and all that came out was a faint sound.
"Please… I can't stay here. Take me out of this room, Kael. Please."
He straightened immediately, the look on his face was full of understanding. "Alright," he said softly, "you don't have to worry about it."
He then moved toward the door, and called out sharply for the guards.
